DECREE NO 274
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinary 22 ° of the Constitution of the Republic, it is the faculty of this State Body, to grant to persons or
populations, titles, honorary distinctions and gratifications, compatible with the form of government established, for relevant services provided to the Homeland.
II.-That article 6, literal c) of the Law of Honorific Distances, Gratitude and Titles, establishes that the honorable and Distinguished or Distinguished distinctions, in their order of relevance, may be awarded to Salvadoran people
or foreign residents, when the services or contributions that have been provided to the Homeland, are related to the dissemination and exploitation of science, art, culture, education and sport or any other another form of service
altruistic or collective; in such a way that it represents an undeniable benefit for the Salvadoran State or its inhabitants.
III.-That the painter Margoth Beatriz de los Angeles López Barrière, known
artistically as "Gothy Lopez", born in San Salvador, on August 30, 1975, from an early age developed in various branches of art, being at the age of nineteen when he decided to dedicate himself entirely to the "Arts
Plastics", for which he began his studies at the University of El Salvador and then he made a specialization in the "Permanent Workshop of Drawing and Painting" by Mayra Barraza, where she also stood out as Instructor Teacher
from the year 1997 to 1999.
IV.-That since 1994, Margoth Beatriz de los Angeles López Barrière, has
participated in various artistic exhibitions, both inside and outside our national borders, managing to conquer with its enormous talent European continent, where she is listed as one of the best pincers
foreign, which has earned her to be included as the only Salvadoran plastic artist on the artistic platform called "Milan World Arts Maps" -MWAM- brings together the most outstanding artists in Milan.
V.-That as a result of the undisputed talent shown, Margoth Beatriz de los Angeles López Barrière, has obtained several awards, among which
we can quote: The "Philips Prize of Art for Young Talents" in the year 1999, "Prize as Outstanding Artist of the Year" in the " Third Exhibition of the Drawing and Painting Workshop "held at the Cultural Hall of the Mexican Embassy in the
year 1999;" Colli Briantei "Award from the city of Vigano, Lombardy; and" CinisAelli " Prize in the city of Cinisello Balsamo, Milan, Italy between the years 2001-2003; "Eustachi" Prize in the "International Painting Competition" carried out by the "Eustachi Gallery of Milan" in 2009; and Award for its impeccable

work issued by the "Milan Humanitarian Society", one of the oldest and most
VI.-That by virtue of the above mentioned merits, it is appropriate to grant the Honorific Distinction of "DISTINGUISHED PAINTER OF EL SALVADOR", to the artist Margoth
Beatriz de los Angeles López Barrière, for his contribution to the development of the plastic arts and its trajectory
FOR TANTO,
in use of its Constitutional faculties and on the initiative of the Deputy Carmen Elena Calderón
Escalón Sol.
DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-Declare the artist Margoth Beatriz de los Angeles López Barrière, "DISTINGUISHED PAINTER OF EL SALVADOR", for her contribution to the development of the plastic arts and her career
artistic.
Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
