DECREE NO 334
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That Article 131, Ordinary 19 ° of the Constitution, establishes that it is the faculty of the Legislative Assembly, to elect by a nominal and public vote among other
officials, to the Attorney General of the Republic.
II.-That Articles 192 and 177 of the Constitution establish that to be
Attorney General of the Republic requires the same qualities as to be Magistrates of the Chambers of the Second Instance.
III.-That pursuant to Chapter XII of the Rules of Procedure of the Legislative Assembly, dated 22 October 2015, the beginning of the process for the election of the Attorney General of the Republic was authorized.
IV.-So, it was reviewed, verified and verified the profile of the lawyer Sonia Elizabeth Cortez de Madriz, especially in what Note that it complies with the requirements

DECRETA:
Art. 1.-To be elected by Attorney General of the Republic, to the Advocate Sonia Elizabeth Cortez of Madriz, for the three-year period established by the Art.192, of the Constitution, which starts
from this date and concludes the thirteen of April of the year two thousand nineteen.
