1. Decree No. 369 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: (I).-in accordance with rule 131, 22 ° Ordinal of the Constitution of the Republic, is Faculty of this organ of State, granted to individuals or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and gratuities, compatible with the form of Government established by relevant services to the homeland.

VI.-that by the foregoing, is coming to give the distinction of honorable postmortem of "distinguished citizen of El Salvador", Don Felipe Cándido Romero, in recognition of his invaluable contributions to human knowledge, that has been a benefit to the Republic of El Salvador.
Therefore, use of his constitutional powers and at the initiative of MEPs and the members: María Elizabeth Gómez Perla, Juan Pablo Herrera Rivas, Julio César Miranda Quezada, Jose Gabriel Murillo Duarte, Zoila Beatriz Quijada Solís, Guadalupe Antonio Vásquez Martínez and Eugenio Donato Vaquerano Rivas.
DECREES: Article 1.-declare the master Felipe Cándido Romero, "distinguished citizen of El Salvador", post-mortem, in recognition of his invaluable contributions to human knowledge, which has represented a benefit for the Republic of El Salvador.
Article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the official journal.
