DECREE No. 375 THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
I.- in accordance with Article 131 Ordinal 11 of the Constitution, it is this power to enact Legislative Assembly, generally, benefits and tax incentives or other nature, to promote, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other cultural activities.
II That the National Retired Teachers Association of El Salvador "ANMJES" acquired legal status on 12 October 2009, its charter being approved by Decision No. 264 of the Ministry of the Interior and published in the Official Journal N 19, Volume No. 386, dated January 28, 2010. III
that this association was founded in order to "ensure the rights and interests of its members", as follows from Art. 1 of its statutes, noting that to date been eight ANMJES to Congress or General Assembly, being the last one on December 5, 2015 in the city of Chinameca.
IV.- That the City Council of Santa Tecla, at the time chaired by Mr. Oscar Samuel Ortiz, at the request of the Board of ANMJES, decreed in that municipality as Teacher's Day and Master Retirees, last Friday in June of each year; however, in order that that date is decreed throughout the country and add to our civic calendar, it is necessary that this Honorable Legislature declared the last Friday of June of each year as "Teachers' Day and Teacher Retirement ".

Art. 1. It is declared the last Friday of June each year, "Teacher's Day and Teacher Retirement".
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
