Publication of grants for the distribution of fruit and vegetable products to children in educational establishments 1)

In accordance with paragraph 1 (1), 1-5, section 4, paragraph 4. The European Community Guarantee Fund for Agriculture and the European Guarantee Fund for Agriculture and the European Communities shall be subject to the financing of the European Community Guarantee Fund for Agriculture and Article 5. Chapter 1

Content of the scheme

§ 1. The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries may, within the framework of the European Union, provide a commitment to grant the distribution of fruit and vegetables to children in educational establishments in the framework of a school fruit scheme in the context of the European Union. Chapter 2

Definitions

§ 2. For the purposes of a school fruit scheme, an arrangement shall mean an arrangement which means that students at a given school are offered fruit and vegetables at a minimum of 60 consecutive days in the period 6. August 2012 to 28. June 2013.

Chapter 3

Authorities and controls

§ 3. The Management Board shall carry out checks in connection with the administration of the scheme following this notice. The Management of Natural Services shall also be responsible for the physical checks and the subsequent accounting checks.

Paragraph 2. It shall be the responsibility of the savior or the affected school to provide the necessary assistance during inspection purposes.

Chapter 4

Applications for commitments and grants

§ 4. The following may apply for grants :

1) Education institutions where they are taught in accordance with the Danish primary school law and in the class of 0. -10. level or equivalent level. School-free time schemes cannot apply for subsidies.

2) Municipalities can apply for grants to school fruit schemes in schools in the municipality.

3) Vendors and / or distributors of fruit and vegetables as school fruit to schools with a school fruit scheme.

4) Organizations behind school fruit schemes combined with related measures or with power measurement.

Paragraph 2. Applicants referred to in paragraph 1. 1, no. 2, 3 and 4 are required to record the name and address of the educational institutions or, where appropriate, to the educational authorities and the quantities of products sold or delivered to the educational establishments or the educational authorities.

§ 5. The application for an undertaking and an application for payment of grants shall be submitted on a specific document available by way of a call to the Home Office or the Home page of the Natural Acquisitions.

Paragraph 4. In the event that the subsidy from the European Union is reduced, the Services of Natural Services may be reduced in the already committed commitments. The fences will be reduced proportionally.

§ 7. By way of derogation from Section 6, paragraph 3 and 4 may up to 10% of the total grant pool are allocated to school fruit schemes, with planned power measurement, of increased consumption of fruit and vegetables. Scholefruit schemes with power measuring shall comply with all other conditions in sections 8 and 9.

Paragraph 2. Classes participating in other schemes with a focus on nutrition, fitness and healthy ways of life can also obtain an assurance from paragraph 1. 1. Priority shall, however, be made for applications with power measurement.

Paragraph 3. Applications for paragraph 1. 1 shall include at least 4 schools and must be submitted by the organisation responsible for the initiative.

Paragraph 4. In the light of the individual application, the Danish Agency shall evaluate whether or not an undertaking may be obtained in accordance with paragraph 1. 1.

Chapter 5

Conditions for grants

§ 8. Supplements shall be made subject to compliance with the following conditions :

1) The distribution period shall cover all the teaching days of at least 60 consecutive teaching days in the period 6. August 2012 to 28. June 2013.

2) Undertakings may not be transferred to upcoming year or used retroactive.

3) The school has to hang a poster up at the main entrance or use an Internet banner on his website, which illuves that school is involved in the scheme. The Wildlife Board shall place the placate and the banner at its disposal.

4) The applicant shall ensure that the application for grants and its original accounting documents are kept available for at least five years from the date of payment of grants.

§ 9. Supplements shall be granted to fresh, unprocessed fruit and vegetables. However, products may be prepared or bought in the event of their living up to the requirements of the food type key mark for fruit and vegetables.

Paragraph 2. No allowance shall be granted for olive, nuts and potatoes, maize, or products excluded from it at any time in force in the European Union.

Chapter 6

Payment of grants

§ 10. The payment of grants is conditional on the following conditions :

1) All applied expenditure for the school fruit scheme of the year are held and documented.

2) The conditions laid down in sections 8 and 9 are met.

§ 11. The maximum allocation of grants to distribution is 50% of the cost, but not more than 1.25 kr. per pupil per. Education day.

Chapter 7

Changes and obligation to provide information

§ 13. Chapter 8

4) The conditions for aid have not been met in accordance with the requirements sections 8 and 9.

Chapter 9

Penalty provisions

Chapter 10

Entry into force

§ 17. The announcement will enter into force 6. August 2012.

Paragraph 2. Publication no. 828 of 4. July 2011 on subsidies for the distribution of fruit and vegetable products to children in educational establishments shall be repealed. However, the announcement shall continue to apply to commitments for grants awarded under the same notice.
