Law on the amendment of the Penal Code

(Display penalties for home-robbery and organised crime-mining)

We, by God's grace, the Queen of the Danes, do our thing.

The parliament has adopted the following law, and we know that the following law has been approved by Parliament's consent :

§ 1

In the penal code, cf. Law Order no. 1235 of 26. In October 2010, as amended by Section 11 of Law No 718 of 25. June 2010, section 1 of law no. 1549 of 21. December 2010, section 1 of law no. 1552 of 21. December 2010andlov nr. 611 of 14. June 2011, the following changes are made :

1. I Section 286 (4). 1, the following shall be inserted after ' say ` shall mean the following : 'or because the theft has been committed in the context of organised crime,'.

2. I § 288 (4) 2, inserted after "gain," means, or because the perpetrator has entered a private home to commit a robbery, "

§ 2

The law shall enter into force on 1. July, 2011.

§ 3

The law does not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
