Chapter 2 English language Committee § 3. The Minister reduces the Southern Schleswig Committee, which consists of 5 members. The Danish Parliament elects the members of the Committee in accordance with the ratio among its members. The Danish Parliament may however, in exceptional cases, select one or more members of the Committee who is not a member of the Danish Parliament, if the question related to one of the Folketing and the person in question has a special insight into and interest in issues relating to the Danish minority of Southern Schleswig. The Minister shall appoint the Chairman of the Committee from among the elected members.
(2). Southern Schleswig Committee's mandate included the Folketing election period, provided that elections to the Committee only lapse when a new Committee set up in accordance with paragraph 1.
(3). Leaving a member of Committee of Southern Schleswig, the Danish Parliament chooses a new Member of the Committee for the remainder of the term, see. (1).
(4). The Ministry of education provides secretarial assistance to the Committee of Southern Schleswig.
§ 4. Southern Schleswig Committee acts as the liaison between the Danish minority in Southern Schleswig and the Folketing.
§ 5. The Committee shall, in accordance with the English language application decision on grants and loans, see. Chapter 3, within the limits of the appropriations allocated under the annual finance laws. The Committee included the request result agreements under section 12.

§ 9. Southern Schleswig Committee shall draw up an annual report on its activities, including on the distribution of the appropriations allocated in the budget bill, and received applications for grants and loans.
(2). Southern Schleswig Committee sends for each fiscal year by 1. may the following year the annual accounts shall be signed by all members of the Committee to the Minister of education and the National Audit Office. Chapter 3 Grants and loan beneficiaries of section 11. § 13. Grants and loans for construction projects § 14. Southern Schleswig Committee may award grants or loans for construction projects in Southern Schleswig, with a view to the provision of the physical framework for the minority associations, organisations, etc., see. section 11, paragraph 1.
(2). The terms and conditions for the granting of loans shall be determined at the annual finance laws.
Project grants section 15. Southern Schleswig Committee can provide project grants to the associations, organizations, etc. for stand-alone projects whose duration does not exceed three financial years.
(2). Southern Schleswig Committee establishes a reimbursement policy for awarding project grants.
Grant disbursement section 16. The Minister shall be paid by grants and loans in accordance with the decisions of the Committee of Southern Schleswig.
§ 17. Southern Schleswig, the Committee may decide that the allowance should be paid in advance.
Chapter 4 Accounting, auditing and follow-up accounting and auditing § 18. Beneficiaries receiving operating grants under section 12 (1) shall, in respect of their entire business to draw up an annual report, including a financial statements.

Chapter 5 date of entry into force and transitional provisions § 22. The law shall enter into force on the 1. April 2010.
