Publication of the amendment of the proclamations of measurement of measuring equipment control of meters used to measure the consumption of hot and cold water

(Amendment of rules for type-approval and verification, etc.)

§ 1

Notice no. 1034 of 17. In October 2006, on metering control of meters used to measure the consumption of hot and cold water, as amended by the notice No 813 of the 28th. July 2008, the following changes are made :

2. § 8 (3) 1, revoked.

3. § 18 ITREAS :

" § 18. Component type-approval of measuring equipment, cf. Section 1 (1). 6, no. 3, applied for and notified by the Security Board. The application shall contain evidence that the instrument complies with statutory requirements in the form of a type test report and a draft type-examination certificate from a laboratory accredited by the Danish Accreditation and Metrologics Fund, (DANAK) or an equivalent accreditation body, which is co-signatory of the EA multilateral agreement on mutual recognition.

Paragraph 2. If the necessary accreditation does not exist for the tests required for a given instrument, the Security Board shall approve other appropriate laboratories. ' ;

4. Section 19 (1). 1, ITREAS :

' Initial verification of measuring equipment, which is type-approved before the 30. Oct 2006, following the provisions that were in force before 30. In October 2006, and which has an ongoing component type-approval, cf. Section 1 (1). 4, as well as of measurement equipment, which is type-approved in accordance with section 1 (1). 6, no. 3, shall be carried out by laboratories, which are specially authorised by the Security Agency, on the basis of the fact that they have the necessary accreditation from the Danish Accreditation and Transit Fund (DANAK) or an equivalent accreditation body which is the co-signer of the EA multilateral agreement on mutual recognition. `

5. Section 20 (2). 1, ITREAS :

' verification shall be carried out by laboratories in particular by a laboratory with a special authority on the basis of their accreditation from the Danish Accreditation and Metrologistics Fund (DANAK) or from an equivalent accreditation body ; which is co-signatory of the EA multilateral agreement on mutual recognition. `

6. I Section 23, paragraph 1. 1, the words ' and the Danish Accreditation and Transit Fund ' shall be deleted ;

7. Chapter 11 revoked.

8. Section 26 (1). 1, revoked.

§ 2

The announcement shall enter into force on 1. April 2010.
