Publication of death notification

Purline Section 4 of Law No 225 of 31. May 1968 on the notification of births and deaths shall be determined :

Chapter 1

Frists and authorities

§ 1. The death of a vessel in the country or on board ship or aircraft whose first arrival at the time of death is a Danish port or airport no later than two days after death or after the ship ' s or aircraft ' s arrival in Danish ; territory is notified to the person controller of the parish where the deceased was domiciled, cf. however, paragraph 1 Two and three.

Paragraph 2. If the deceased was domiciled in the deviled villagers, the death warrant is passed on to the person registerman in the municipality where the deceased lived.

Paragraph 3. If the deceased was domiciled in the Faroe Islands, in Greenland or abroad, or where the deceased was to be informed, the death has to be notified to the person registers of the parish where the death has taken place. Where the death has occurred during transport by ship, aircraft or on the way to a hospital, the notification shall be made to the person controller of the parish where the place of arrival is located. If the death has not been established, then the notification shall be made to the person controller of the parish where the body was found.

Chapter 2

Publication of the notification

§ 2. The notification shall be made by the death certificate in the death certificate. The report of the death has to be done in the Electronic Interpretation System (SEI) System of Health Management.

Paragraph 2. In cases where the deceased does not have a Danish social security number, the notification shall be issued on an approved form. If the form is to be sent electronically by using the digital signature of the health expert, it is sent to doedsfald@personregistrering.dk, the notification by the person registerner's mail address shall be used by the person registered to the person.

Chapter 3

Other provisions

§ 3. The person who is responsible for the notification and the relatives of the deceased shall be able to document the information submitted by the person concerned before a time limit has been set.

§ 4. The announcement shall enter into force on the sixth. The period of October 2010 and has the effect of the notification of fatalities from this point of time.
