Under section 4 of Act No. 225 of 31. May 1968 on notification of births and deaths shall be determined: Chapter 1-limits and authorities § 1. Deaths taking place in this country or on board ship or aircraft whose first place of arrival after the death is a Danish port or airport, shall, within 2 working days after the death or after the ship's or aircraft's arrival to Danish territory shall be notified to the rule of the master for the parish in which the deceased had domicile, see. However, paragraphs 2 and 3.
(2). The deceased had domicile in the South Jutland regions, forwarded the death notification certificates to the driver in the municipality where the deceased lived.
(3). The deceased had domicile at the Faroe Islands, Greenland or abroad, or may not be provided information about where the deceased lived, the death must be notified to the rule of the master for the parish, where the death has taken place.
