Law amending the law on the Danish International ship register
(Application of collective agreements)
WE, MARGRETHE the SECOND, by the grace of God Queen of Denmark, do indeed:
The Danish Parliament has adopted and we know Our consent confirmed the following law:
Of the law on the Danish International ship register, see. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 273 of 11. April 1997, as amended by section 1 of Act No. 460 of 31. May 2000 and article 2 of law No. 526 by 7. June 2006, is amended as follows:
1. section 10, paragraph 2 is replaced by the following:
' (2). Collective agreements as referred to in paragraph 1, which is concluded by a Danish professional organization, can only include persons resident in Denmark, or as under EU law or other international commitments entered into must be equated with persons who are deemed to reside in Denmark. '
The law shall enter into force on the 1. April 2009.
The law does not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland but may by Royal Decree be put into force for Greenland of the changes, as the special Greenlandic conditions warrant.
