Law amending the law on the legal relations between employers and officials

(Administrative relief on official law)

WE, MARGRETHE the SECOND, by the grace of God Queen of Denmark, do indeed:

The Danish Parliament has adopted and we know Our consent confirmed the following law:

§ 1

The law on the legal relations between employers and officials, see. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 68 of 21. January 2005, as amended by section 7 of the Act No. 542 of 24. June 2005 and section 58 of the Act No. 566 of 9. June 2006, shall be amended as follows:

1. In article 2, paragraph 7, the following is inserted as a 3. item:




» At the employee's request, the employer shall inform in writing about the reason for the dismissal. '



2. section 10, paragraph 3, are repealed.




Paragraph 4 becomes paragraph 3.



3. section 11, paragraph 2 is replaced by the following: ' (2). Comments on the appointment of a mediation parties must be made in writing accompanied by a short summary of the case. '

4. section 13 is replaced by the following: ' § 13. Failure to provide the meeting of the mediation the man be punished with fine which shall accrue to the Treasury. '

5. section 17 is repealed.

§ 2

The law shall enter into force on the 1. June 2008.

§ 3

The law does not apply to Greenland, but may by Royal Decree in whole or in part be put into force for Greenland of the variances, as the special Greenlandic conditions warrant.
