Law amending the law on electricity;
(Increased biomass use and free fuel choices at key stations)
WE, MARGRETHE the SECOND, by the grace of God Queen of Denmark, do indeed:
The Danish Parliament has adopted and we know Our consent confirmed the following law:
The law on electricity regulation. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 286 of 20. April 2005, as amended, inter alia, by § 1 of lov nr. 520 of 7. June 2006 and article 3 of law No. 548 of 6. June 2007 and at the latest by § 1 of lov nr. 549 of 6. June 2007, shall be amended as follows:
1. In article 87, paragraph 1, no. 9, the words ' submit information or ': ', ', and supply information in nr. 10 section 84 (a) shall be replaced by '. ' to: ' section 84 (a) or '.
2. In article 87, paragraph 1, the following is inserted as a no. 11:
» 11) violates the terms of an approval under section 98 (2). '
3. In section 98 shall be inserted after paragraph 1 as a new piece:
' (2). Climate and Energy Minister may upon application modify conditions in authorisations referred to in paragraph 1. Approval may be limited in time. By changing the conditions of fuel use, the Minister may ask the conditions that fuel the change is subject to the condition that the applicant within a time limit prescribed by the Minister apply a quantity of biomass in the same work or another work, and conditions on the operation of compliance therewith should be documented. '
Paragraphs 2 and 3 shall become paragraphs 3 and 4 hereafter.
The law shall enter into force on the 1. July 2008.
