Act No. 11/006 of 25 June 2011 relating to the ratification of Legislative Order No. 10/002 of 20 August 2010 bearing Customs Code.
Statement of Reasons
By Act No. 10/012 of 23 June 2010, Parliament authorized, for a period of six months, the Government to take, by Order-Law, measures in matters within the scope of the Act, for the urgent execution of its program.
Under this authorization, the Government adopted and the President of the Republic signed Ordinance No. 10/002 of 20 August 2010 on the Customs Code.
The above-mentioned Ordinance-Law having been deemed to be in compliance with the draft Act adopted by the National Assembly on first reading during the March 2010 Session, this Act shall ratify Ordinance-Law No. 10/002 of 20 August 2010 on the Customs Code.

The National Assembly and the Senate adopted,
The President of the Republic promulgates the following Act:
Article 1:
In accordance with the provisions of section 129, paragraph 2, of the Constitution and Act No. 10/012 of 23 June 2010 empowering the Government, Ordinance-Law No. 10/002 of 20 August 2010 enacting the Customs Code.
Article 2:
This Act comes into force on the date of its promulgation;
