DECREE



of 7 November. November 2016



the location of nuclear facilities



State Office for nuclear safety, establishes, pursuant to section 236 of the Act No.

263/2016 Coll., the Atomic Act, to implement section 24 para. 7 and § 47 para. 4:



§ 1



The subject of the edit



This Decree incorporates the relevant provisions of Euratom ^ 1) and edits

§ 2



The concepts of

§ 3

6. electromagnetic interference



7. vortex of electric current,



8. the negative manifestations of air, road, rail and water transport,



9. effect of pipelines and power lines,



10. air pollution, bedrock, surface and ground

waters and



11. the operation of the equipment in which they are located, or from which they are released

substances, flammable, explosive, toxic, asphyxiating, corrosive effects

or radioactive, and



(c)) other phenomena that may affect nuclear safety,

radiation protection, radiation monitoring of the situation, the management of radiation

emergency and security of nuclear installations.



(2) the characteristics of the territory to the location of the nuclear facility, under consideration of the

§ 4



General requirements for the scope and method of assessing the location

nuclear device



(1) the examination of the territory to the location of nuclear facilities must evaluate the peace,

radiation protection, radiation monitoring of the situation, the management of radiation

emergency and security.



(2) the results of the assessment of the location of the nuclear facility shall be

§ 5



Seismicita

§ 6

4. the occurrence of symptoms that indicate a mechanical deformation of the rocks on the

tectonic lines, in particular zones of the crushing, clay minerals and the fissure type of aquifer,



5. the occurrence of mechanically recorded earthquake or historical

documented earthquake and



6. expressions of faults occurring on the land of a nuclear device, in particular their

increased throughput for the movement of groundwater in the rock environment.



(2) characteristics of the violation of the territory of the nuclear installation location

§ 7



Floods

(c)) use meteorological, hydrographic and hydrologic data,

1. the possibility of flooding as a result of a nuclear installation in the land of rain, melting

snow or storms,



2. the possibility of and the effect of specific floods caused by impairment or

3. effect of water accumulation and surge levels as a result of the sudden emergence of

natural or technical barriers that affect the natural flow and

surface of the water and



4. the effect of erosion or the establishment of sediments and the occurrence of flood sediments in

the water catchment area and

§ 8

§ 9

Climate and weather phenomena



The assessment of the location of the nuclear facility in terms of climate

and meteorological phenomena must evaluate the long-term climatic properties

and weather phenomena, in particular

c) wind direction and strength,



(d)) of grading and the stability of the atmosphere,



(e) the temperature of the atmosphere) and its sudden changes,



f) occurrence of torrential rain,



(g)) the occurrence of lightning,



h) occurrence of windstorms and tornadoes and



and the occurrence of rare meteorological event).



§ 11



Biological phenomena



The assessment of the location of the nuclear facility in terms of biological

phenomena must evaluate the presence of living organisms living in the water,

rock or airy environment, and their impact on the technological

systems of nuclear devices, in particular, the air conditioning and cooling systems.



§ 12



Natural fires



The assessment of the location of the nuclear facility in terms of natural

the incidence of forest fires and other contiguous stands and

agriculturally used territory which may be the source natural

§ 15



Collision with protective or safety zone
