People's Democratic Republic of Algeria on cooperation in the field of
health care

The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the people's Democratic of Algeria
's Republic of China on cooperation in the field of health.
According to article 13 of the Convention entered into force on 16 December 1999. September 1966.

CONVENTION
between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Algeria
people's Democratic Republic on cooperation in the field of health
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Algeria
people's Democratic Republic, desiring to deepen the cooperation in
the health care sector and thus to further expand and consolidate friendly
relations between the two countries, have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The Contracting Parties shall develop cooperation and to promote the mutual exchange of
experience in matters of health and medical sciences, so that this
cooperation to contribute to the continuing improvement of the health status of the people of both
countries.
Article 2
The Contracting Parties shall exchange of professional experience gained in the field of
the health sector.
This Exchange will in particular apply to medical methods, such as
prevention, hygiene, the fight against epidemics, health education, as well as on the
the means employed.
Article 3
The parties will exchange publications and information, medical
movies, means and methods of health education, in particular the audiovisual.
Article 4
The Contracting Parties shall develop and deepen cooperation through the exchange of
of experience between the Department of health research and the Department of schools and
health education the Ministry of health and other Czechoslovak
specialized devices on one side and the Algerian national health
the Institute and other devices on the other side.
Article 5
The competent authorities and institutions of the Contracting Parties shall exchange plans and
materials on their organized medical Congresses, conferences and
meetings, in particular the international character, and will invite to these actions
representatives of the other party.
Article 6
The Contracting Parties shall cooperate in the field of vocational education
health workers in particular in that direction, that:
1. to promote the exchange of doctors and other health care workers for
the purpose of in-service training and specialization, or study some
diseases,
2. Exchange teaching experience, teaching aids and
documentation on the health care system.
Article 7
The competent Czechoslovak administrative authorities will facilitate the development of
Algerian health by post, at the request of the competent
Algerian administrative institutions for the education of health professionals
staff, physicians and other health care workers in Algeria.
The competent Czechoslovak authorities will facilitate the further study of the Board of the Algerian
staff in their medical schools and facilities.
Article 8
To prevent the spread of infectious diseases shall be the competent authorities and
institutions of the Contracting Parties to Exchange periodic reports about the
epidemiological situation.
Article 9
The competent authorities and institutions of the Contracting Parties shall mutually accept

constitutional treatment and providing the citizens of the other party residing within
necessary in their territory treatment during acute illness. For details,
in particular, the extent and the conditions, the Ministry of health provides both
countries of the special agreement in accordance with the provisions of article 11 (1) 4 this

Article 10
The implementation of this Convention will be entrusted with the Ministry of health of both

Article 11
The costs associated with the implementation of this Convention, the Contracting Parties shall bear the

1. the medical literature, teaching and audiovisual AIDS, lists, movies
and health educational material will exchange free of charge;
2. reimbursement of costs associated with broadcasting or on the descents,
conferences and meetings will be agreed in the specific plans

3. the costs associated with broadcasting and residence of the physicians and other health
workers on the territory of the other Contracting Party shall pay the party in whose

9 of this Convention shall be borne by the party who is sick.
Article 12
Mutual statement of costs pursuant to article 11 of this Convention will be
carry out according to the valid payment of the agreement between the two countries.
Article 13
This Convention shall enter into force on signature. It shall be concluded for a period of five
years and will be automatically extended for a further five years, always, if it
one of the Contracting Parties denounces it, with six months ' notice.
