on the agreement on cooperation in the field of health between the Government of
The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Tunisian Republic
29 April 2004. May 1964 in Prague signed a cooperation agreement in the
the field of health between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist
the Republic and the Government of the Tunisian Republic.
According to article 12 of the Agreement entered into force on 19 May 2001. August 1966.
The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

The AGREEMENT
on cooperation in the field of health between the Government of the Czechoslovak
Socialist Republic and the Government of the Tunisian Republic
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Tunisian Republic
Desiring to develop friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries
in the area of health care, have decided to conclude this agreement:
Article 1
The Contracting Parties shall develop cooperation and to promote the mutual exchange of
experience in matters of health and medical sciences.
Article 2
The parties will exchange experience acquired in
the Organization of health care and the management of health services, in particular
sections of the preventive and therapeutic care, hygiene and protiepidemické care,
health promotion and the use of medical instruments, equipment and medicines.
Article 3
The parties will mutually exchange programs and documents on the
study trips, conferences and meetings related to the field
medical questions. If, in the territory of one of the Contracting Parties
held the Assembly of an international character, that Contracting Party may
invite the other party to participate at this meeting.
Article 4
The parties will exchange technical literature,
medical films, visuals and other AIDS from the medical
enlightenment.
Article 5
In order to fight against infectious diseases will be Contracting
Parties to exchange experiences on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment
These diseases.
Article 6
The Contracting Parties shall use exchanges of experience to develop and deepen
cooperation between the research institutes, medical schools and other
medical devices.
Article 7
The Contracting Parties shall cooperate in the field of vocational education
health professionals, in particular:
1. the Czechoslovak party will assist in the education of Tunisia
health workers broadcast by Czechoslovak qualified
experts to the Tunisian Republic for the purpose of education of Tunisia
health care workers, or, where appropriate, by allowing the Tunisian
health-care professionals to study in the Czechoslovak Socialist
Republic;
2. they shall encourage the exchange of doctors and other health care workers for
the purpose of their in-service training or specialization, or for
the purpose of studying certain types of diseases;
3. the party will continue to provide the Tunisian side
medical assistance of the Czechoslovak broadcast health professionals to
The Tunisian Republic on the basis of a valid agreement between the Polytechnou
undertaking of external trade on the one hand, and the State Secretariat
at the Ministry of health and Social Affairs on the side

4. the Contracting Parties will exchange teaching aids and
teaching experience.
Article 8
The competent authorities and institutions of both parties will be mutually

Article 9
The Ministry of health of both States agree to implement the

Article 10
The Contracting Parties shall mutually make reimbursement of the costs resulting from
cooperation under the provisions of this Agreement on the basis of the following principles:
1. the medical literature, teaching and visuals, film and
Ducati card assistance-educational material will be exchanged free of charge;
2. when mutual broadcast delegations or participating in gatherings and
conferences shall be borne by the sending party travel costs to the place of destination and the
back, the receiving party shall bear the costs for accommodation, food, local
freight, including the respective spending money;
3. the costs associated with broadcasting and residence of the physicians and other health
workers on the territory of the other Contracting Parties shall be borne by the Contracting Party,
on the request of these persons were sent;
4. costs related to the provision of the constitutional treatment and medical assistance in the
the meaning of article 6, shall be reimbursed by the party that sends the sick; medical assistance in
sudden illness shall be provided free of charge to citizens of the other party.
Article 11
Mutual statement of costs pursuant to article 10 of this Agreement shall be
perform based on the credit agreement between the two countries through the
State banks of both Contracting Parties.
Article 12
This agreement is concluded for a period of 5 years and its validity will be
prolong automatically for a further five years if one of the
of the Contracting Parties denounces it six months before the expiry of its validity.
This agreement is subject to approval by the national rules of the Contracting
Parties and shall enter into force on its approval by the exchange of notes.
