The Ministry of health
of 13 October. June 2002,
laying down the amount of reimbursement of health care covered by the public
health insurance, including regulatory restrictions for 2. half of 2002
The Ministry of health shall lay down pursuant to § 17 para. 11 (a). (b)) of the Act
No. 48/1997 Coll., on public health insurance and amending and supplementing
some related laws, as amended by Act No. 459/2000 Coll. (hereinafter referred to
"the Act"):
§ 1
This Decree lays down, in cases where it is not the result of the conciliation
management agreement pursuant to § 17 para. 8 of the Act,
and the amount of the reimbursement) of health care paid for by public health insurance
including regulatory restrictions for health care in health care
residential care, including specialised therapeutic institutes, hospitals
for long-term patients and medical device reporting treatment
day no. 00005 pursuant to Decree issuing the list of medical procedures
with the point values of ^ 1) (hereinafter referred to as "the list of performance"),
(b) the amount of the reimbursement) when providing emergency care in non-Contracting
health-care facilities.
§ 2
(1) health care provided in health establishments of the constitutional
care, with the exception of health care in specialised therapeutic institutes,
institutes for long-term patients and in medical devices
returning the treatment day no. 00005 according to the list of performances (hereinafter referred to as
"inpatient facilities"), shall be paid in accordance with the contractual arrangement between the medical
the insurance company and patient facilities
a) flat rate, or
(b)) according to the list of performances, or
c) at the request of post operative care facilities combined in an agreed manner of payment
with the payment for the diagnosis.
(2) price point for the payment of health care referred to in paragraph 1 (b). (b))
set for 1. half of 2001 remains in force for 2. half-year
2002. ^ 2)
(3) the amount of remuneration referred to in paragraph 1 (b). (c)) shall negotiate in the contract between
health insurance and, with the amount of fasility payment

the total amount of the payment will be higher than the remuneration provided for in paragraph 1

contrary to the laws and regulations governing public health insurance.
(6) the procedure for calculating the flat-rate amount and conditions for reimbursement under
paragraph 1 (b). a) and b) are set out in annex 1 to this notice.
(7) if payment of a flat rate referred to in paragraph 1 (b). and)
health insurance provides beyond the flat rate, and without application of the
other regulatory restrictions, if these are not referred to directly in the text

(PNS), stimulation of the spinal cord or the rear roots (SCS), deep brain
and korová stimulation, and for promoters of the front horns spinal (SARS) for
transversálních lesions of the dorsal given in 2. half of 2002 in bed
the establishments listed in Appendix 3 to this notice; inpatient facilities
referred to in annex 3 to this Ordinance may apply to the sum of the
health insurance in the Czech Republic up to 30 programmable
prostheses,

listed in Appendix 9 to this Decree,
separately charged to) for medicinal products granted in 2. half of 2002 in
Cancer sick children treated with children's Oncology at the workplace
bed care establishments listed in annex 10 to this Decree; for a list of
separately charged to medicinal products is given in annex 11 to this

Appendix 17 to this Decree,

§ 4

§ 5

§ 6

§ 7

1. Reimbursement of health care provided by the bed devices includes:

3. The calculation of the lump-sum payment of 1 point
When calculating the amount of the flat-rate payment for 1 point is based on the individual

The procedure to calculate the increase of the remuneration referred to in § 7 para. 1
NUZZ = [(P02/P01-1) x 0.8 x UZZ02]-(UZZ02-UZZ01)
where:
NUZZ = increase in remuneration for a specific medical device 2.
half of 2002
P01 = actual revenue from a selection of premium total after redistribution in 2.
half of 2001 (that is from 7-12. the reallocation including) after deduction of
receipts for claims incurred by the Consolidation Bank, Prague
P02 = actual revenue from a selection of premium total after redistribution in 2.
half of 2002 (that is, from 7 to 12, including redistribution)
UZZ01 = reimbursement for a specific medical device 2. half-year 2001
reported by medical institutions and recognized by the health insurance company to 31.
March 2002, minus the payment for the items in the scope of § 2, para. 7
the Ordinance, effected in the relevant period
UZZ02 = reimbursement for a specific medical device 2. half of 2002
reported by medical institutions and recognized by the health insurance company to 31.
March 2003, minus the payment for the items in the scope of § 2, para. 7
the Ordinance, effected in the relevant period.
The conditions for the calculation:
1. in the case that UZZ02 < UZZ01, then the expression (UZZ02-UZZ01) we set
a value of 0
2. in the case that NUZZ < 0, then the increase in remuneration for a specific medical facility for 2 half-year 2002 does not 3. in the case that UZZ02/UZZ01-1 > = (P01/-P02 1) x 0.8, then
the increase of the remuneration for a specific medical device 2. half of 2002
does not perform
4. in the event that in the 2. half of 2002 there has been an increase in the contract
the capacity of medical device compared with 2. half of 2001, the volume of this
care is not included in the UZZ02 item in the calculation under section 7, Appendix No. 18
the Decree.
