The Czech Office of work safety and the Czech Mining Authority
of 7 November. December 1990,
amending and supplementing Decree of the Czech Office of work safety and
The Czech Mining Authority no. 21/1979 Coll., which specify the dedicated
gas equipment and lays down certain conditions to ensure that they

The Czech Office of work safety according to § 5 para. 1 (b). (d)), and (f)) of law No.
174/1968 Coll., on State specialized supervision of work safety, in agreement
with the relevant central authorities and the Czech mining Office under section 6 (1). 6
(a). and) of the Czech National Council No. 61/1988 Coll., on mining activity,
explosives and the State Mining Administration, provides:
Article. (I)
Decree of the Czech Office of work safety and the Czech Mining Authority no.
21/1979 Coll., which specify a dedicated gas equipment and provides for the
some of the conditions to ensure their safety, shall be amended and the following
as follows:
1. section 1 (1). 1 reads as follows:
"(1) the Ordinance is binding on the Organization, covered by the scope of the
the authorities of the State of vocational safety surveillance work, ^ 1) for
organizations that carry out activities subject to the supervision of the authorities of the Chief
the State Mining Administration ^ 2) and for legal and natural persons that
carry out business activities in accordance with special regulations ^ 5) (hereinafter referred to
"the Organization"). ".

safety work.
2) § 39 of the law of the Czech National Council No. 61/1988 Coll., on mining activity,
explosives and the State Mining Administration.

2. In article 3, paragraph 3. 1, after the word "revision" is inserted after the word "test.".
3. In article 3, paragraph 3. 2, after the words "seat" the words ", where appropriate, continuous

4. paragraph 3 shall be added to paragraph 8, 9 and 10, which reads as follows:
"(8) the production or Assembly of the organization is required to notify the authority of the

(9) the equipment referred to in paragraph 8, the Assembly or the organization may
commit to the customer only after a successful test of the equipment certified by the authority
supervision.
(10) in the case of imported equipment ensures compliance with the obligations referred to in paragraph
8 and 9 user organisations. ".
6) section 9 of Decree No. 85/1978 Coll., on inspections, revisions and tests
gas devices.
5. section 4 reads as follows:
"§ 4
Revision techniques a must have for the implementation of the revisions and tests of the device
certificate of professional competence issued by the supervisory authority, on the basis of

10. section 6 (1). 2 is added:
"(2) the Installation of other equipment may be delegated only persons who
are brought to the extent of its activities with the regulations for Assembly work on the
equipment and trained staff. Must be familiar with the relevant regulations and
have at least one year of professional experience, which means practical activity
the device of the species concerned and must pass an examination for the supervisory authority. ".
Article II
This Decree shall take effect on the date of publication.
