on the agreement on cultural cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist

the Republic and the Government of the Republic of Senegal



16 December 2002. April 1981 was in Dakar signed the agreement on cultural cooperation

between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Senegal

of the Republic. Agreement entered into force, pursuant to article 11 of the day

February 20, 1984.

on cultural cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist

the Republic and the Government of the Republic of Senegal



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Senegal

Republic,



Desiring to promote and develop the relations and cooperation in the areas of

culture, science, education and health care,



convinced that this cooperation will contribute to the deepening of friendly

relations between the two countries,



have decided to conclude this agreement and to this end have agreed as follows:



Article 1



The Contracting Parties shall facilitate the development of cooperation in the fields of culture,

art, science, education, women's education, health and sport.



Article 2



The Contracting Parties shall encourage cooperation and the exchange of information and

of experience between the artistic, cultural, educational and other

organizations and institutions, in particular:



and by promoting reciprocal visits of University) professors and teachers

Professional and scientific equipment,



(b) organizing various exhibitions on) the territory of the Contracting Parties,



(c)) the organisation of concerts, theatrical performances and other performances

artists,



(d) translation and publishing) literary and scientific works,



e) in exchange of books and other publications from the fields of culture, science and art,



f) exchange of information on the way of life in the countries of the Contracting Parties for

to extend the objective information in textbooks and teaching

curricula,



(g)) by promoting exchanges of experts from the fields of culture, science and

health care,



(h) promoting exchanges and marketing) films.



Article 3



The Contracting Parties shall, within their capabilities to provide scholarships

students in the second and third cycle studies at universities or

other school facilities. The number of awards and region

education will be specified in cooperation programmes.



Article 4



The Contracting Parties will examine options to ensure the partial or

studies carried out in full force, consisting of tests and obtained diplomas

on the territory of one or other party. To this end they shall examine

the possibility of concluding a special agreement.



Article 5



Each Contracting Party shall ensure, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Access scientific, University, research and pedagogical workers

the other party to libraries, archives, museums, art galleries and other

cultural objects.



Article 6



The Contracting Parties shall facilitate the participation of representatives of the country of the other party

party at congresses, conferences, festivals and other events with

international participation organized on the territory of one of the Contracting Parties.



Article 7



The Contracting Parties shall encourage cooperation between the radio and

tv stations, and help establish cooperation between the print

agencies of their countries.



Article 8



The Contracting Parties shall, within their capabilities to facilitate the tourist

exchanges and foster the development of cooperation in the field of sport and between

Youth and women's organisations in their countries.



Article 9



The Contracting Parties shall be created in accordance with applicable regulations, the necessary conditions

for the fulfilment of the tasks of the citizens of the other State posted pursuant to this agreement.



The citizens of each of the sending States are obliged to comply with the applicable

the national rules of the receiving State.



Article 10



For the implementation of this agreement, the Contracting Parties shall enter into programs

cooperation for a specified period, which will include the agreed actions,

including their financial conditions.



Article 11



This agreement is concluded for a period of five years and will then be tacitly renewed

always for another year, unless one of the Contracting Parties denounces it in writing

in the six-month notice period.



In the case of her testimony will be the position in which the individual

its users, unchanged until the end of the calendar year, once

and for grantees to finish school or academic year started

on the day of her testimony.



This agreement shall enter into force after notification, that it has satisfied the constitutional

regulations in force on each side.



In witness whereof, the duly authorised agents of the Contracting Parties to their respective Governments

authorised thereto, have signed this agreement.



Due in Dakar on 16. April 1981 in two copies, each in the language

Slovak and French, both texts being equally authentic.
