GOVERNMENT REGULATION



of 5 April 2004. August 1960



about changes in the organisation of universities



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders pursuant to section 3 of the Act

No 58/1950 Coll., on universities:



§ 1



At the Czech Technical University in Prague Faculty are aggregated

civil engineering with the Faculty of architecture and civil

Engineering in the Faculty of civil engineering and the Faculty of

ekonomickoinženýrská.



§ 2



The seat of the High School traffic in Prague will gradually transfers from Prague to

Žilina; the name of the High school transport in Prague, therefore, with effect from 1.

September 1962 be amended to read: high school transport in Žilina.



§ 3



On College chemickotechnologické in Prague, the Faculty shall be established

Automation and economy of chemical production.



§ 4



College of mechanical and electrical engineering in Plzeň shall be distributed to the Faculty of

machinery and on the Faculty of electrical engineering.



§ 5



(1) the name of the University in Liberec will be amended to read: high school

mechanical engineering and textiles in Liberec.



(2) the College of mechanical engineering and textiles in Liberec is to be distributed to the Faculty of

mechanical engineering and the Faculty of textile.



§ 6



At University in Prague Faculty of traffic shall be established

economic based in České Budějovice.



§ 7



At the Technical University in Brno, Faculty of engineering are aggregated

with the Faculty of engineering, architecture and civil engineering in

the Faculty of law building.



§ 8



At the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, faculty are aggregated

civil engineering with the Faculty of architecture and civil

Engineering in the Faculty of civil engineering and the Faculty of

ekonomickoinženýrská.



§ 9



At the Charles University in Prague Faculty shall be established with the name of the Institute

education and journalism.



§ 10



The name of the university in Brno, added University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Brno.



§ 11



(1) the Faculty of pharmacy of the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Brno

the Faculty of pharmacy of the University in Bratislava are combined in

Faculty of pharmaceutical University in Bratislava.



(2) the Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty shall be established with the name

Institute of physical education and sport.



§ 12



The name of the production economic faculty of the University of Economics in

Bratislava is hereby amended to read: the Faculty of sectoral economies.
