additives and extraction solvents in the manufacture of food
, as amended by Decree no. 130/2010 Coll.

Art. I

Decree no. 4/2008 Coll., Laying down the types and conditions of use
additives and extraction solvents, as amended by Decree no.
130/2010 Coll., Is amended as follows:

First In § 1, paragraph 1, including footnotes Nos. 1 and 2 reads:

"§ 1
Subject Matter


(1) This Decree implements the relevant regulations of the European Union ^ 1)
also follows on directly applicable European Union regulations ^ 2)
adjusts the amount and types of additives, conditions for their use in the manufacture
food provides food and food groups, which may

Commission Regulation (EC) no. 606/2009 of 10 July 2009 laying
down certain rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) no. 479/2008
regarding the types of products vine, oenological practices and restrictions
which apply to them.

Commission Regulation (EC) no. 607/2009 of 14 July 2009 laying
down certain rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) no. 479/2008
regards protected designations of origin and geographical indications, traditional
terms, labeling and presentation of certain products. ".

Second In § 2 at the end of point d) is replaced by a comma and letters
e) and f) are added:

"E) solvent substance for dissolving a foodstuff or any part
including any contaminants that occur in
foodstuffs or on their surface,

F) solvent extraction solvent which is used in the extraction process
during the processing of raw materials, foods or their
parts or components, and which is removed, which may lead to
unintentional but technically unavoidable presence
residues or derivatives in food or food ingredients. ".

Third Annex no. 2, including footnote no. 4 reads:
