a long-term trade agreement between the Czechoslovak Socialist
Republic and Sweden
On 30 November. March 1973 in Stockholm was signed long-term business
the agreement between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and Sweden.
According to article 6 of the Agreement entered into force on signature.
English translation of the agreement and exchanged letters shall be designated at the same time.

Long-term trade agreement
between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and Sweden
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Sweden,
taking into account that there are favourable conditions for the further expansion of
trade and economic relations and
Desiring to promote and facilitate the development of trade and economic relations
between the two countries to their mutual benefit,
have agreed as follows:
Article 1
Both Governments have as their aim and will seek to create conditions for
permanent and substantial increase in trade between the two countries in goods,
that is traditionally in the exchange between them, as well as in the new goods. Confirm

Article 2
The exchange of goods between the two countries will take place in accordance with the

Article 3
Both Governments, bearing in mind the special importance of industrial cooperation for

Article 4
All salaries between the two countries shall be made in freely convertible currency in the
compliance with applicable laws, and foreign exchange regulations.
Article 5
The Joint Commission, composed of representatives of both Governments, will be established by
purpose to assess the implementation of this agreement.
The Joint Commission will lead the annual talks about suitable treatment referred to in article
2 of this agreement, the results of which would be recorded in the log.
The Joint Commission will review the development of trade between the two countries and consider
the problems that would arise from the implementation of this agreement or any
other issues arising in their mutual trade relations, which would
they were designed by any of the parties.
The Joint Commission may make suggestions or recommendations to the relevant Governments
aimed at the further development of the exchange of goods between the two countries.
The Joint Commission shall meet annually, alternately in the Czechoslovak
Socialist Republic and Sweden, and otherwise shall meet at the request of
any of the two Governments on the date and place to be, for each such
chance agreed.
Article 6
This agreement shall enter into force on the date of signature and will be effective from 1 January 2005. January
1973 to 31. December 1977. After the entry into force of the agreement will be automatically
extended periods of one year if either of the two Governments
not give written notice not later than three months before the expiry of the

the honour to inform you that the Government of Sweden is at peace with this:
Both Governments confirmed their agreement with the fact that the exchange of goods between the two
countries will be carried out on the basis of prices on the world market. Where prices
the world market do not exist, the prices to be taken into account, should be
those that are generally applied for such goods on basic
markets. If would be incurred as regards prices, the difficulties, the parties
will immediately consult with each other in order to find an immediate and appropriate
measures to overcome these difficulties.
