on the agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the German

The agreement
between the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the German Democratic
Republic on the single customs závěrovém order for the Elbe river ships
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the German Democratic Republic
in an effort to promote international transport and ease navigation on the river Elbe have decided to
shall conclude an agreement on a unified customs závěrovém order for the Elbe river boats.
To this end, have designated as their agents:

the Government of the German Democratic Republic
Anton Ruha, head of the Bureau of customs and control of the circulation of goods,
who, having exchanged their full powers, found to be in complete
order and due form, have agreed as follows:
Article 1
For customs discussion of ships under Customs seal on the Elbe River, its tributaries and
with it associated waterways on the territory of the Contracting Parties shall apply
connected a single customs procedure for the Elbe sight a ship (hereinafter referred to as
"the sight of procedure"), which is an integral part of this agreement.
Article 2
Confirmation of the eligibility of the boat to the Customs seal and certification of qualifying
skippers for the transport of goods under Customs seal (hereinafter referred to as
"confirmation" and "certificate"), issued in accordance with the provisions of závěrového of the order

the other Contracting Party, without prejudice to the provisions of § 25

Article 3

Article 4
Central Customs administrations of the Contracting Parties shall notify each other that the customs
authorities are authorized to issue the attestations and certificates or removal.
Article 5
Central Customs administrations of the Parties shall mutually agree on the amendments to the

Article 6
This agreement shall be open to access by third States, if their ships are

Article 7
This agreement is subject to approval by the national rules of the Contracting

signed, the agreement shall cease upon expiry of the notice period of validity.

Uniform Customs regulations for the Elbe river ships sight
§ 1
(1) whoever calls for goods subject to customs supervision during transport on the Elbe,
its tributaries and associated waterways have been released under the

General provisions
§ 2

§ 4

§ 6

§ 8

§ 14
