on the agreement on cultural cooperation between the Czechoslovak Socialist

and the Federal Republic of Cameroon



On 20 April. April 1964 in Paris was signed the agreement on cultural cooperation

between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Federative Republic of Brazil

Cameroon.



The agreement on the basis of article 8, entered into force on signature, IE.

on 20 June 2001. April 1964.



The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

The agreement



on cultural cooperation between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the

Federal Republic of Cameroon



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Federal

the Republic of Cameroon



Desiring to develop cooperation of both States in education, culture and sports,



convinced that this cooperation will contribute to the consolidation of friendly relations

between the peoples of both States,



have decided to conclude this agreement and to this end have designated as their

agents:



the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic

the Government of the Federal Republic of Cameroon

due form, have agreed as follows:



Article 1



The Contracting Parties shall, on the basis of mutual friendship and understanding, and

obeying the principles of sovereignty, non-interference and equality, to promote

cultural relations between the two countries and contribute to mutual cognition

cultural values of the peoples of the two countries and the progress achieved in the field of

education, culture and sports.



Article 2



The Contracting Parties shall promote, in particular:



the development of cooperation between universities, scientific and research institutes,

educational and cultural associations and organizations;



the exchange of information from the field of education, science, culture and the film and organizing

lectures of these disciplines;



organisation of exhibitions, exchange of literary and artistic works, the organisation of

concerts, theatrical performances and sporting events and visits

experts who deal with one of the branches referred to in this article.



Article 3



Each of the two Contracting Parties will allow his experts

the other side of research and study in schools, institutes, archives,

libraries and muzejích their country, in accordance with the statutes referred

device.



Article 4



Each Contracting Party shall provide under its options grants and

contributing to material assistance, to enable study, research

of work and specialisation students, technicians, engineers, scientists and artists

the other Contracting Party.



Article 5



The two parties will promote cooperation, according to their possibilities,

between radio and television press agencies and organisations

movie companies in accordance with the legal provisions.



Article 6



The Contracting Parties shall take the necessary measures to a deeper mutual knowledge

of their countries.



Article 7



For the implementation of this agreement, the Contracting Parties shall draw up and agree on a detailed

plans, the length of validity, and the method of financing shall be determined

by mutual agreement.



Article 8



This agreement shall enter into force upon signature and shall remain in force,

If one of the Contracting Parties denounces it in writing within a period of at least

six months.



Done at Paris on 20. April 1964 in three copies, each in the language

the Czech, French and English, and the texts of Czech and French

have a decisive effect.
