on the agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government

The Republic of Finland on cooperation in cultural, scientific and related

areas



On 12 June 2006. October 1973 in Helsinki was agreement signed between the Government of

The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Finland

cooperation in cultural, scientific and related areas.



According to article 6 of the Agreement entered into force on 1 January 2000. January 1974.



The Slovak version of the agreement shall be published at the same time. ^ ^ *)

The AGREEMENT



between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Finland

Republic on cooperation in cultural, scientific and related areas



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Finland,



Desiring to develop further the cooperation between the two countries,



have agreed as follows:



Article 1



The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation in the fields of culture, science,

education, social policy, health care, information resources,

Sport, agriculture and forestry, in the area of youth activities

and in other related areas of mutual interest.



The Contracting Parties shall, to this end, in addition to other efforts to support

and enabling:



and) exchange of scientists, experts, professors, teachers, students and trainees,



(b)) cooperation between scientific and higher education institutions,



(c) the exchange of art files), artists and exhibitions of culture and information

the nature,



(d)) in the field of exchange of physical education and sport,



e) exchanges of books, periodicals and other publications of the areas covered by these

f) organizing lectures and conferences.



Article 2



The Contracting Parties will provide scholarships to citizens of the other party

in a manner to be determined in time cooperation programmes.



Article 3



The Parties shall promote activities of the Finland-Czechoslovakia

the society for international relations.



Article 4



The Contracting Parties agree that the cooperation established in the field of radio and

television is a win-win, and they will support it.



Article 5



For the purpose of implementing this agreement, the Contracting Parties to the agreement to create a

Article 6
