Of the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Hungarian People's Republic
adjusting border traffic

On October 16, 1962 was signed in Prague
Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Hungarian People's Republic
adjusting border traffic.

Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic approved the agreement on 30
January 1963, which was communicated to the Hungarian side, by a note dated 18 February
1,963th Presidiální Council of the Hungarian People's Republic approved the agreement on
11th April 1963, which was notified by a note dated 8 June 1963.

According to the provisions of Article 21, paragraph 1 of the Agreement entered into force on
8th July 1963.

Czech version of the Agreement shall be open simultaneously.

AGREEMENT
Between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Hungarian People's Republic
adjusting border traffic

Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Hungarian People's Republic
Desiring to enable simplified formalities for crossing
Czechoslovak-Hungarian state border for citizens of both countries who live in zones
border traffic, and thereby strengthen and deepen | || fraternal cooperation and friendship of the people of both countries, have decided to conclude an agreement on the adjustment
border traffic and for that purpose have appointed as their Agents

Who exchanged their full powers, found in good and due form
, have agreed as follows:
PART I



General Provisions Article 1


First For Gaza border traffic along the Czechoslovak-Hungarian state
border areas are considered general rule fifteen kilometers in the territory of each State

Article 2


Border traffic may participate only person who

PART II


Travel documents required for border traffic
Article 3


First Border traffic is carried on the basis of border passes, and it

Second Border passes are issued by the competent authorities of the Contracting Parties
and are valid without stamping the border authorities of the other Contracting Party
subject to the provisions of Article 9, paragraph 1.
Article 4


First Disposable border pass entitles you to a one-time entry to the Gaza border

Article 5


First Disposable border pass may be issued to a person who intends to appear

Article 6


First The permanent border pass was issued to persons who perform work tasks

Article 7


First The permanent border pass is issued only at the request of the employer.

PART III



Border traffic rules Article 8


First Border pass entitles the holder to cross the state border

Article 9


First In justified cases and preliminary application may

Article 10

PART IV


Customs provisions
Article 11


First Goods may be undertaken in border traffic transported across state lines
only after customs path.

Second The holder of a permanent border passes can not import or export
permit and free of customs duties and other charges possibly import-export:

A) food, drugs and tobacco products in prescribed amounts

B) tools required to practice or work saved, if
explicitly stated in culverts and

C) natural wages for work performed under confirmation
employers and the local authority.

Third The holder of the single border passes may bring travel
supplies, food, tobacco products and gift items in a specified amount
.

Fourth Persons using land in the Gaza border traffic second

Article 12


First Participant border traffic may be further moved:

Article 13


First In the case of essential supplies can be transferred across state borders
domestic animals (except poultry) for grazing or to power the Gaza border traffic

Second Pets that are transferred across state borders, must be registered in
certificate which shall contain the name of the owner, the number

Article 14

PART V

Special provisions

Article 15

§ 17

If important economic interests of one or both of the Contracting Parties may

Article 18


The remains of people who died in the bands border traffic and

PART VI

Final provisions

Article 19

Article 20


The Parties shall notify each other that their bodies are
responsible for implementation of the provisions of this Agreement and shall have

Article 21


First This Agreement is subject to approval by the constitutional provisions of the Contracting Parties
. Will enter into force thirty days after the date on which the Parties notify each other
such approval.

Second The entry into force of this Agreement expires
Agreement between the Czechoslovak Republic and the Hungarian People's Republic on the adjustment
border traffic signed in Bratislava on 7 April 1952.

Third This Agreement is concluded for five years from the date of entry into force and its
shall be extended every five years unless one of
Contracting Parties denounces it in writing at least six months before the expiry

This Agreement has been drawn up in duplicate, each in the Czech and Hungarian
, both texts being equally authentic.
