on measures in the field of wages, pensions and some social benefits in
with regard to the cancellation of the ticket system.

The achievements of the working people in the building of socialism in our country have allowed
cancel the tied market. In order to create favourable conditions in the field of wages,
pensions and some social benefits to facilitate the transition from the bound
market on the free market, the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic ordered with the consent of
the President of the Republic according to § 42 para. 1 of law no 241/1948 Coll.
the first five-year economic development plan of the Czechoslovak Republic
(law on the five-year plan):
PART I.
Measures in the field of wages.
§ 1
Increase basic tariffs.
(1) a valid basic tariff rates (time and piecework rates) increase
as follows:

(2) workers not covered by the provisions of paragraph 1 shall be increased

up.
§ 2
Increase of the monthly wages (salaries).
The basic monthly wages (salaries) of employees covered by the
the provisions of Act No. 247/1948 Coll., on State wage policy, including
Government employees whose remuneration are regulated by law
No 66/1950 Coll., on employment and salaries of civil servants,
and Act No. 67/1950 Coll., on employment and the emoluments of the judges of the
profession, prosecutors and judicial trainees, as well as spiritual
churches and religious societies whose benefits are adjusted according to the
Law No. 218/1949 Coll., on economic security of churches and
religious communities, are increased as follows:
salaries to 1,000 Czech Crowns by an amount. ... 60 Czech Crowns
from 1.001 to 1,200 Czech Crowns by the amount ... 40 Czech Crowns a month.
§ 3
Increase of work remuneration other than home workers.
The conversion rate to the hourly wage of the household workers, increased by the amount of, 34
Czech Crowns per hour. If the conversion is not the hourly wage fixed and working
the reward is determined only by the units or other units of measure,
provides for the work rewards the central competent authority with the consent of the State
the wage Commission.
§ 4
Increase in other work rewards.
The rewards of work not specified in §§ 1 to 3, particularly janitors, modifies the remuneration
the central competent authority with the agreement of the State Labor Commission.
§ 5
The announcement of the new wage (wage) rates.
The new modified wage (wage) rates will announce the central competent authority;
in the case of employees whose wages are adjusted on the basis of Act No.
247/1948 Coll., on State wage policy, they do so with the prior
the approval of the national wage Commission.
