the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs



The Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs declares that on 11 July. December

1991 in Brussels was signed the agreement between the Czech and Slovak

Federative Republic of Brazil and the Commission of the European communities on the establishment

Representation of the Commission of the European communities in the Czech and Slovak

Federal Republic and its privileges and immunities.



With the agreement have expressed their approval of the Federal Assembly of the Czech and Slovak

The AGREEMENT



between the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic and by the Commission of the European

Article 1



Czech and Slovak Federal Republic agrees with the establishment of representative offices

Article 2



1. the European Community – the European coal and Steel Community, the European

Economic Community and the European Atomic Energy Community-

persons.



2. the European Community shall be authorised to conclude contracts, to acquire

movable and immovable property and to dispose of it, if it is needed to

the efficient performance of their duties, act before the courts and be

represented for this purpose by the Commission.



Article 3



1. the delegation of the Commission, its leaders and members, as well as members of their

families, who are members of their household, shall have in the territory of the Czech and

Slovak Federal Republic the rights, privileges and immunities, as well as

the obligations correspond to rights and obligations set out in the Vienna

Convention on diplomatic relations of 18. April 1961 and which have

diplomatic missions in the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, their

leaders, members, as well as members of their families who are nationals of

2. the other provisions of the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations of 18.

April 1961 shall apply mutatis mutandis.



3. The rights, privileges and immunities shall be provided on condition that the

Article 4

Article 6



Each Contracting Party shall notify the other party that the requirements have been met

shall enter into force on the date of adoption of the second notification.
