the Treaty between the Czechoslovak Republic and the Polish people's Republic

on the final demarcation of the State border



On 13 November. June 1958 was in Warsaw negotiated a contract between

Czechoslovak Republic and the Polish people's Republic on the final

demarcation of State borders.



The National Assembly to take effect with the consent of the constitutional law of the contract

17 May. October 1958 No. 62 and it was ratified by the president of the Republic day

on October 20, 1958. The instruments of ratification were exchanged in Prague on 14. February

1959.



The Czech version of the Treaty shall be designated in the annex of the laws.

CONTRACT



between the Czechoslovak Republic and the Polish people's Republic on the final

demarcation of State borders



The President of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Council of State of the Polish people's

Republic, guided by the desire to the State border between the Czechoslovak

Republic and the Polish people's Republic linked the fraternal peoples of both

States in peaceful and friendly cooperation, have decided to conclude a contract of

the final delimitation of frontiers and to this end have designated their

Agent:



The President of the Czechoslovak Republic-



Václav David, Minister of Foreign Affairs,



The State Council of the Polish people's Republic-



Adam Rapackého, Minister of Foreign Affairs,



who, vyměnivše Attorney's and shledavše is in good and due form,

They agreed on the following provisions:



Article 1



(1) the current national boundaries between the Czechoslovak Republic and Polish

people's Republic were finally set by the Czechoslovak-Polish

the Mixed Commission for the demarcation of State borders established on the basis of

Protocol between the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the Polish people's

Republic on the establishment of a Czech-Polish border

signed at Prague on 23. September 1955.



(2) the course of the boundary line is marked in the documents on the establishment of the State

borders, which are an integral part of this agreement.



Article 2



Documents on the demarcation of State borders are:



1. Description of the Protocol during the border lines with sketches in the scale 1:5000 and

with a table of numeric data;



2. Map of the Czechoslovak-Polish State borders;



3. Final Protocol on the activities of the Czechoslovak-Polish Joint Commission

for the establishment of State borders.



Article 3



State borders define the vertical space above the ground and also under

countries.



Article 4



This agreement shall be ratified and shall enter into force on the date of the exchange of

instruments of ratification, which will be performed in Prague.



This agreement was drawn up in Warsaw on 13. June 1958 in two

copies, each in the Czech and the Polish language, both texts have

the same force.



The evidence that agents have signed this Treaty and it seals.
