on the protection of animals during transport

The Ministry of agriculture shall be determined according to § 29 para. 1 to implement Section 8e
paragraph. 3 Act No 246/1992 Coll., on the protection of animals against cruelty, as amended by
Act No. 162/1993 Coll., Act No. 78/2004 Coll. and Act No 312/2008 Coll.,
(hereinafter referred to as the "Act"):

§ 4
The size of the space for the transport of animals
The size of the space requirements for the transport of animals
does not take place in the context of the economic activity, and for the transport of
farm animals to a maximum distance of 50 km or within
economy, are listed in annex 3 to this notice.

FINAL PROVISIONS
§ 5
Decree No 193/2004 Coll., on the protection of animals during transport, is hereby repealed.
§ 6
This Decree shall take effect on the date of its publication.

During longer journeys must have the Colts and young horses lie down option.
These figures may in adult horses and ponies deviate by a maximum of
10% and for young horses and foals by 20% depending not only on the weight and
size but also on their physical condition, weather conditions and
the estimated length of the path.

These figures may vary depending on the breed, size,
their physical condition, the length of the coat, weather conditions and duration

4. Road and railway transport of pigs
All pigs must have enough space to lie down

The values apply to poultry transportation in containers and can be
vary, depending not only on the weight and size but also on their physical
status, weather conditions and the likely journey time.
7. Road, rail and air transport of dogs and cats
and road transport of dogs)
Dogs must have enough space to be able to take natural

sexually mature males.

Cats must be placed in a vehicle without compromising the
