laying down technical conditions and procedure for the acquisition and other
processing of biometric data contained in the data medium travel
document

Ministry of the Interior shall establish in accordance with § 61 para. 3 of Act No. 325/1999 Coll.
on asylum and on the amendment of Act No. 283/1991 Coll., on the police of the Czech Republic, in the

aliens in the territory of the Czech Republic and amending certain laws, as amended by

under section 20 (2). 9 of Act No. 326/1999 Coll. on travel documents and
Amendment of the Act No. 283/1991 Coll., on the police of the Czech Republic, as amended by
amended (the law on travel documents), as amended by Act No.
136/2006 Coll.:
§ 1
This Decree ^ 1) modifies the following a directly applicable regulation

§ 2
The biometric data of the applicant for the issue of a travel document (hereinafter referred to as
"the applicant") the authority competent to issue a travel document or

§ 4
(1) the biometric data taken under section 2 to 3a, where applicable, that
data carrier does not include fingerprints, will be used to create a data

§ 5
