processing of biometric data contained in the data medium travel

document

Ministry of the Interior shall establish in accordance with § 61 para. 3 of Act No. 325/1999 Coll.

on asylum and on the amendment of Act No. 283/1991 Coll., on the police of the Czech Republic, in the

aliens in the territory of the Czech Republic and amending certain laws, as amended by

under section 20 (2). 9 of Act No. 326/1999 Coll. on travel documents and

Amendment of the Act No. 283/1991 Coll., on the police of the Czech Republic, as amended by

136/2006 Coll.:



§ 1



This Decree ^ 1) modifies the following a directly applicable regulation

§ 2



The biometric data of the applicant for the issue of a travel document (hereinafter referred to as

"the applicant") the authority competent to issue a travel document or

Embassy, with the exception of consular post maintained by the Honorary

the consular officer ^ 7), (hereinafter ' the competent authority ') when processing

applications for the issue of a travel document (hereinafter referred to as "the application") shooting form

§ 3

§ 4



(1) the biometric data taken under section 2 to 3a, where applicable, that

data carrier does not include fingerprints, will be used to create a data

the file that is attached to an electronically processed requests to

for printing photos on a printed copy of the electronically processed

request.



(2) the applicant shall confirm by their signature of the correctness and completeness of electronic

processed requests on the printed copy. The competent authority shall endorse the

official processing the request.



(3) protection and safety codes referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be allocated

automatically by the system for the electronic processing of the request. Running for

§ 5



(1) the biometric data and their further processing must always guarantee the

the individuality of the captured data and their originality.



(2) a system for the electronic processing of the application may not communicate with the

any information systems, where appropriate, with other electronic media,

with the exception of the information system of population register and information

systems in which they are under special legislation ^ 10)
