The Ministry of industry and trade shall determine in accordance with section 54, paragraph. 1, as well as
under section 54, paragraph. 2 for the implementation of § 15 paragraph. 3, § 16. 2 and 3, section 19 and section
27. 1 (a). and (b) and section 3). d) of Act No. 539/1992 Coll., on the
puncovnictví and testing of precious metals (by law), as amended by law
No. 127/2003 Coll. (hereinafter the "Act"):
Assay marks
§ 1
Assay marks on gold items of legal purity
(1) the Assay mark on the gold fineness 999/1000 item (the purity of no. 0) is
consists of the image of the head of the Eagle to the left looking in the outline of the circle; the number of the
purity is indicated by an Arabic numeral 0, located in the left bottom part of the

(2) the Assay mark of the purity of gold item 986/1000 (purity No. 1)
consists of the image of the head of the Eagle to the left looking in the outline of a semicircle with the

§ 2
Assay marks on silver items of legal purity

part of the brand.
(2) the Assay mark of the purity of silver goods/1000 959 (purity No. 1)

the bulge at the bottom; the number of purity is indicated by an Arabic numeral 1, located
in the lower tip of the outline of the brand.
(3) the Assay mark of 925 sterling silver goods/1000 (purity No. 2)
consists of the image of the head looking slightly to the left of chamois in the outline

§ 3
Assay marks on a Platinum items
Assay marks on a Platinum goods all legal purity to

§ 4

§ 5

Purity of solders and composition of alloys
§ 8
(1) the purity of solder to the soldering of the Golden goods must be not less than the greater

§ 9

Details of assay controls
§ 10
Presentation of goods
The manufacturer or the dealer announces to the assay control type, number of pieces,
the weight and purity of the goods on forms issued by the assay Office.

§ 11

§ 12
Weight limit

§ 14

§ 15
Cancellation provisions
Shall be repealed:
1. The Decree of the Federal Ministry of economy no. 540/1992 Coll.,

(by law).
2. Decree No. 324/2000 Coll., amending Decree of the Federal
the Ministry of economy no. 540/1992 Coll., implementing Act
puncovnictví and testing of precious metals (by the law).
