concerning veterinary checks applicable in trade with animal products

The Ministry of agriculture lays down pursuant to § 78 of Act No. 167/1999 Coll., on the
veterinary care and amending certain related laws (health
Act), as amended by Act No. 131/2003 Coll. (hereinafter the "Act") to perform
§ 28 para. 5 and § 31 para. 3 (b). (b)), and (c)) of the Act:
§ 1
The subject of the edit
This Decree in accordance with the law of the European Communities ' ^ 1 ') governs the

§ 2
Definition of terms
For the purposes of this Ordinance, means the
a) veterinary check-any physical check or
administrative act on animal products, the purpose of which is
direct or indirect protection of public or animal health,
(b) business-any business), or other device in which the treats
animal products,
(c)) by the competent authority-the central authority of the Member State of the European Union
(hereinafter referred to as "Member State") empowered to carry out veterinary checks
or other authority of the Member State to which this authority was vested,
d) trading-trade between Member States in animal
products originating in the Member States, as well as in animal
products originating in third countries, which are in the Member States
in free circulation.
§ 3
Animal products covered by the specific legislation
referred to in annex 3 to this Decree and which are intended to
trading shall be subject to veterinary checks at the point of origin and
veterinary checks on arrival at destination.
Veterinary checks at origin
§ 4
(1) in the performance of the State veterinary supervision in accordance with section 52 of the Act
performed by the regional Veterinary Administration and Municipal animal health management in Prague
on the territory of the city of Prague (hereinafter referred to as "regional animal health management")
veterinary inspection at the place of origin, in particular, to determine whether
animal products intended for trading
and) have been obtained, checked, marked and labelled in accordance with the

Annex No. 3 to this Decree and, in view of your destination,

their own checks on the hygiene conditions of production in accordance with section 22 paragraph 1. 1 (b).

§ 5

§ 6

Veterinary checks on arrival at destination
§ 7

§ 8
Recipients who have animal products delivered to them from another Member

§ 9

Measures on the basis of the outcome of the veterinary checks
§ 10

§ 11

§ 12

§ 14
