of 3 July 2003. September 2012
about the requirements for the equipment of medical transport services provider,
emergency medical services provider and the provider of the transportation
urgent care patients, means of transport and about the requirements for these
means of transport
The Ministry of health shall, pursuant to section 120 of the Act No. 372/2011 Coll.
on health services and conditions of their provision (law on
health services), to implement section 11 para. 7 of the law on health
services:
§ 1
Equipment requirements medical transport services provider,
emergency medical services provider and the provider of the transportation
patients with urgent care means and technical requirements
and material equipment, marking and colour of these traffic
the funds are set out in the annex to this Decree.
§ 2
(1) the requirements for the designation and colour of the means of transport
According to this Decree shall not apply to means of transport of the armed
forces and the prison service of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as "the prison service").
(2) the requirements for the colour of the means of transport referred to in this
the Decree shall further not apply to conveyances made to 31.

§ 3
(1) the requirements for the equipment of medical transport services provider,
emergency medical services provider and the provider of the transportation
patients with urgent care means and technical requirements
and material equipment and labelling of these means of transport under this
the decree must be met within 1. April 2013, unless stipulated
otherwise.
(2) the equipment of the provider of medical transport services, a provider of
emergency medical services and the provider of the transportation of patients
urgent care means and technical and material facilities and
the labelling of these means of transport in accordance with Decree No. 221/2010 Coll.
the requirements for material and technical equipment of medical institutions and about
change the Decree of the Ministry of health no. 51/1995 Coll., which

The Czech Republic No. 434/1992 Coll. on health emergency services
(Ordinance on the requirements on the material and technical equipment of medical
equipment), as amended by Decree No. 234/2011 Coll., is considered to be 1. April
2013 for the means of transport and equipment for technical and material facilities
and marking of means of transport under this Ordinance.
§ 4
This Decree shall take effect on the date of its publication.

Annex
Equipment requirements medical transport services provider,
emergency medical services provider and the provider of the transportation
patients with urgent care means and technical requirements
and material equipment, marking and colour of these traffic
resources
(I).
Equipment requirements medical transportation services provider
means of transport and the requirements for technical and material facilities,
designation and colour of these means of transport
Provider of medical transport services must be provided by the
health services equipped with vehicles which meet these
the requirements on the technical and material equipment, marking and color:
A. vehicle for transport of patients
1. the vehicle for the transport of patients means attendance meeting
the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road by
other legislation ^ 1).
2. The vehicle must be equipped with
2.1. the stretcher restraint system equipped for children and adults,
2.2. equipment for the transport of the seated patient, if this
the device do not have stretcher
2.3. transport tarpaulin,
2.4. comforters and bedding,
2.5. the automatic external defibrillator, which does not require record

2.6. manual breathing apparatus with accessories for newborns, children,
and adults with the possibility of connection to a source of carbon, oxygen,
2.7. pressure oxygen bottles containing 2 l with accessories to

2.9. material for the treatment of wounds,
2.10. the splint fixation for upper and lower extremities,
2.11. the contingency of birthing Kit,
2.12. the container for urine,
2.13. disposable bags to vomit or one-off emitními
bowls,
2.14. waste bin,
2.15. disposable gloves-25 pairs,
sterile surgical gloves 2.16.-6 pairs,
2.17. disinfectants for hands and to medical AIDS
2.18. car radio or an integrated connection to the public
mobile phone network (hands-free)
2.19. equipment for internal communication between the driver and the persons in
space for patients, if the internal layout of the vehicle does not allow
direct communication between them,
2.20. spot light (reflector),
2.21. Special warning light blue colors ^ 2) supplemented by a special
audible warning device.
Equipment referred to in points 2.11, 2.18 and 2.19 is not required in the vehicle
The prison service.
3. basic vehicle body color is white. The vehicle is on the sides
significantly marked business name or the name of the provider of health care
transport services. If the vehicle is equipped with a radio, is on the roof
marked with a brand name of the radio station calling the vehicle of a minimum height of the letters
150 mm. Colour and marking of the vehicle may have a reflective appearance.
(B) a vehicle for rapid transportation of medical personnel and for
urgent transport of tissues, cells and other biological material,
medicinal products and medical devices necessary for the
the provision of urgent care
1. Vehicle for the rapid transportation of medical personnel and for
urgent transport of tissues, cells and other biological material,
medicinal products and medical devices necessary for the
the provision of emergency care means a passenger car with closed
bodies that meet the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road
roads under other legislation ^ 1).
2. The vehicle must be equipped with
2.1. a suitable type of container for the transport and short term
storage of tissues, cells, other biological material and medicinal
preparations; Transport box shall be equipped with a thermometer. Transport box
not required if the vehicle is intended exclusively for the carriage of medical
workers,
2.2. the vehicle radio or an integrated connection to the public
mobile phone network (hands-free)
2.3. Special warning light blue colors ^ 2) supplemented by a special
audible warning device.
Equipment referred to in point 2.2 shall not be required in the vehicle of the prison service.
3. The vehicle must be a space for the safe storage of transported
material.
4. basic vehicle body color is white. The vehicle is on the sides
significantly marked business name or the name of the provider of health care
transport services. If the vehicle is equipped with a radio, is on the roof
marked with a brand name of the radio station calling the vehicle of a minimum height of the letters
150 mm. Colour and marking of the vehicle may have a reflective appearance.
II.
Requirements for the equipment of emergency medical services provider
means of transport and the requirements for technical and material facilities,
designation and colour of these means of transport
The provider of emergency medical services, must be fitted with a means of
resources that meet these requirements to the technical and material facilities,
markings and color:
A. Vehicle fast medical assistance
1. Vehicle fast medical assistance means the ambulance vehicle meeting
the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road by
other legislation ^ 1).
2. The vehicle must be equipped with
2.1. a stretcher with chassis equipped with restraint system for children and
adults,
2.2. the vacuum mattress,
2.3. devices for the transport of the seated patient, if this
devices do not have the stretcher with the chassis,
2.4. transport tarpaulin,
2.5. comforters and bedding,
2.6. thermal foil to maintain body temperature,
2.7. films or bag for the deceased,
2.8. the portable defibrillator monitor and 12-svodovým record EKG
curves and stimulator of heart rhythm,
2.9. manual breathing apparatus with accessories for newborns, children,
and adults with the possibility of connection to a source of carbon, oxygen,
2.10. a portable artificial lung ventilation apparatus,
2.11. the two pressure bottles on oxygen, each containing 10 l with
accessory for the administration of oxygen inhalation including half masks,
the flow meter and the pressure reducer,
2.12. the two pressure bottles on oxygen, each containing 2 l,
2.13. a set of equipment for airway-laryngoscope with
different sizes, spoons, endotracheal tube for all age
patient group, Magillovy, the boot loader to the endotracheal tube,
supraglottic AIDS Kit for koniotomii,
2.14. equipment for airway humidification and application of medicines,
2.15. valve for a positive pressure in the Airways of the
the end of the exhalation (PEEP valve),
2.16. the portable battery breast pump with a capacity of at least 1 l,
2.17. device for heating to a temperature of 37 ° c infusion +-2 ° c
2.18. equipment for injection and infusion, including appropriate kanyl,
2.19. equipment for the infusion pressure,
2.20. device for the attachment of the infusion,
2.21. infusion pump or dispenser, stříkačkovým

2.36. material for the treatment of Burns,
2.37. diagnostic light
2.38. the container for urine,
2.39. disposable bags to vomit or one-off emitními
bowls,
2.40. medical waste container,
2.41. waste bin,
sterile surgical gloves 2.42.-6 pairs,
2.43. disposable gloves-25 pairs,
2.44. extrication equipment (vest), spinal or scoop frame,
2.45. the helmet, safety
2.46. Security (working) gloves,
2.47. personal protective equipment against infection for all members

space for patients, if the internal layout of the vehicle does not allow
direct communication between them,
2.56. Special warning light blue colors ^ 2) supplemented by a special
audible warning device.
After the expiry of two years from the date of entry into force of this decree can be used for
equipment of the vehicle in accordance with section 2.52 use only car radio
the bulk of the integrated rescue system radio network.
3. basic vehicle body color is yellow. On the sides of the vehicle is
fast marking in the form placed on a regular basis with alternating
rectangular fields of green and yellow colors of the minimum dimension 590 x 300
mm in one or two horizontal stripes forming the appearance of

Also on the sides of the vehicle is significantly marked "Health

B. Vehicle fast medical assistance in meeting system
1. Vehicle fast medical assistance in meeting system means
passenger car with a closed body which meets the conditions for the operation of
motor vehicles on the road by other legal

C. Vehicle fast medical assistance
1. Vehicle fast medical assistance means the ambulance vehicle
meeting the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road
roads under other legislation ^ 1).
2. The vehicle must be equipped with a vehicle fast medical assistance under
Part II. And 2 of this annex, except for the facilities referred to in paragraphs 2.23 and
2.24, which is not required.
3. basic vehicle body color is yellow. On the sides of the vehicle is
fast marking in the form placed on a regular basis with alternating
rectangular fields of green and yellow colors of the minimum dimension 590 x 300
mm in one or two horizontal stripes forming the appearance of
the Board, with the shorter side of the rectangular field specifies the width of the lane.
Also on the sides of the vehicle is significantly marked "Health
rescue service "of a minimum height of 150 mm and name letters
emergency medical services provider and calling on the roof marker

(D) a vehicle for the transport of premature ... and pathology of newborn infants
1. Vehicle for transporting premature and newborn pathology
means the ambulance vehicle meeting the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles
on the road under other legislation ^ 1).
2. The vehicle must be equipped with a vehicle fast medical assistance under
Part II. And 2 of this annex, with the exception of equipment referred to in points 2.2 to
2.5, 2.10, 2.23, 2.24, 2.31-2.34, 2.38, 2.44 to 2.49 2.50 2.46, and,
that is not required. The vehicle must be equipped with an automatic
ventilator with the possibility of ventilation of the newborn and the source of
compressed air.
If it is not used exclusively medical device incubator
provider of inpatient care, the vehicle must be equipped with further transport
incubator with equipment for the continuation in the immediate care of the newborn
during transport.
3. basic vehicle body color is yellow. On the sides of the vehicle is
fast marking in the form placed on a regular basis with alternating

E. Helicopter for air – a group of
1. Helicopter for air – a group means the helicopter-
air ambulance transportation suitable for 24-hour care and monitoring,
patients meeting the conditions for the operation of the aircraft in accordance with other legal
regulations ^ 3).
2. air ambulance must be equipped with a vehicle quick medical
assistance under part II. And 2 of this annex, with the exception of equipment referred to in
2.3, 2.11, 2.12, 2.52, 2.53 2.55 2.56, and that is not required.
Air ambulance must be equipped with at least two pressure
oxygen bottles, each containing a minimum of 4.7 l or its volume
the equivalent, at least one portable oxygen cylinders for high pressure
the volume of 2 l with accessories to the administration of oxygen inhalation
including half masks, a flow meter and pressure reducing valve and a radio
for connection to the medical centre and the operating
groups. The stretcher is mentioned in part II. And 2 point 2.1 of this annex may not
have the chassis.
Requirement for a helicopter refers to the provider
emergency medical services, setting up outbound base
the exit air groups.
III.
Equipment requirements transport patients urgent care provider
means of transport and the requirements for technical and material facilities,
designation and colour of these means of transport
Provider of transport must be equipped with emergency care
means of transport which satisfy the following technical requirements and
material equipment, marking and color:
The vehicle for the transport of patients, urgent care
1. The vehicle for the transport of patients, urgent care means the ambulance
a vehicle meeting the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road
roads under other legislation ^ 1).
2. The vehicle must be equipped with a vehicle fast medical assistance under
Part II. And 2 of this annex, except for the facilities referred to in paragraphs 2.23,
2.24, up 2.44 2.46 and 2.48 to 2.50, which is not required. Additionally,
