The DECREE



of 3 July 2003. January 2008,



laying down the types and conditions of use of food additives and

extraction solvents in food production

The Ministry of health shall lay down according to the § 19 paragraph. 1 (a). and the law)

No. 110/1997 Coll. on foodstuffs and tobacco products and about the change and

addition of related laws, as amended by law No 306/2000

Coll. and Act No. 316/2004 Coll. (hereinafter the "Act"):



§ 1



The subject of the edit



(1) this Decree incorporates the relevant provisions of the European Union ^ 1),

§ 2



Definition of terms



For the purposes of this Ordinance means



and unprocessed food) the food which has not undergone any

technological processing, which would cause a substantial change in its

General conditions for the use of additives



(1) additives permitted in food production, and food group

the food, which may be present, additives and other conditions

Dyes



(1) the colouring agents allowed in food production, food and food groups,

in which colours can occur, and other conditions for the use of dyes

e) oils and fats of animal and vegetable origin, butter from the milk of goats and

sheep,



(f)), egg yolk, egg white, egg powder, dried, liquid,

concentrated, deep frozen or koagulovaných egg

products,



g) flour, starch, and other grain mill products,



h) bread and bread dough, pasta and gnocchi,



I) sugars including all Monosaccharides and disaccharides,



j) tomato puree and tomato polokonzerv, cold sauces on

the base of the ketchups, tomato juice and



k) fruit and vegetable juices and Nectars,



l) products from fruit, vegetables, potatoes and mushrooms, preserved, pickled

or dried, processed fruits, vegetables, potatoes and mushrooms,



m) selection of jams (extra), jellies (extra) and Maroon

Crème de pruneaux, puree,



n) meat, fish, poultry, game, molluscs, crustaceans and food from them,

Sweetening matter



Sweeteners permitted in food production, food and food groups,

which may be present, and other conditions of use of sweeteners lays down

Annex No. 5 to this Decree. The maximum allowed quantity adjusted

Annex No. 5 to this Decree is related to food prepared on the

consumption according to the manufacturer's instructions.



§ 8



Preservatives



(1) permitted Preservatives in food production, and food group

the food, which may be present, and other conditions of use

preservatives in annex No 6 to this Ordinance. The maximum allowed

the amount contained in annex 6 to this Ordinance is based on the

foodstuffs prepared for consumption according to the manufacturer's instructions.



(2) benzoic acid, propionic acid and its salts may be

naturally present in certain fermented products as a result of

the fermentation process while maintaining the principles of good manufacturing practice. In

this case, these substances are not regarded as substances.



(3) the sulphur dioxide and its compounds contained in annex 6 to this

the decree can also be used as antioxidants.



(4) the maximum amount of carbon dioxide and its compounds are

expressed as sulphur dioxide in mg l-1 or mg.kg-1 and apply to

the total sulphur dioxide content, regardless of its origin. The content of carbon

sulphur dioxide 10 mg.kg-1 or 10 mg l-1 and lower is considered to be zero.



(5) the Nisin fermentation may be as a result of the activity of naturally

present in cheeses or other fermented milk products. In such a

§ 9



Antioxidants



(1) permitted Antioxidants in food production, and food group

the food, which may be present, and conditions for the use of antioxidants

laid down in annex 7 to this Decree.



(2) as antioxidants can be in food production in the necessary amount

use of the additive E 304 and 306 to 309 E E.



§ 10



Additives for the manufacture of food intended for infants and young

children



(1) additives permitted in the manufacture of food intended for nutrition

infants and young children, including food intended for special medical

purposes for infants and small children and their conditions of use set out in annex

No 9 to this Decree. The maximum allowed amount of modified in annex No.

9 to this Decree shall apply to the foodstuffs prepared for consumption by

the manufacturer's instructions.



(2) for the manufacture of foodstuffs intended for the feeding of infants and cereal and

other baby foods intended for small children can only use the

and 1000 mg/kg for preparations containing polyunsaturated fatty acids.



(3) food intended for infants and processed cereal-based foods

intended for small children may include L-askorbát sodium E 301 used in

the necessary amount in the surface layer of nutritional preparations containing

Polyunsaturated fatty acids. The food ready for consumption should not

contain more than 75 mg/l the carry over of E 301.



(4) for the manufacture of fermented milk products intended for the production of initial and

follow-on formulae can be used non-pathogenic microbial culture

acid-producing of L (+) lactic. Lactic acid is thus created

not considered to be additive and its presence may not be marked on the

(5) the use of the substances E 322, E 471, E 472 c and E 473 in the initial and

follow-on formulae in combination and the substances E 407, E 410 and E 412 in

follow-on formulae in combination can be used for each of the

§ 11



Extraction solvents



(1) the extraction solvents in the manufacture of food or allowed for folders

the Decree. It does not apply to extraction solvents used in the production of

additives, vitamins, minerals and food supplements, if

their use is not regulated in this annex.



(2) in accordance with the principles of good manufacturing practice can be without purpose limitation

(3) as extraction solvent can be used with drinking water, which may

(4) If the use of extraction solvents in the manufacture of foods under

the principles of good manufacturing practice leads to technically unavoidable presence of

solvent residue in the food or its folder, may not exceed

the maximum allowed amount of modified in annex 10 to this Decree.



(5) for the extraction of food may not be in the content of hexane ethylmethylketone

more than 50 mg.kg-1, with hexane and ethyl methyl ketone cannot be used
