weapons, ammunition, and pyrotechnical items and on the treatment of certain
pyrotechnic products

The Ministry of industry and trade shall determine, pursuant to section 24 of Act No. 156/2000
Coll. on the validation of firearms, ammunition, and pyrotechnical items
and about the treatment of some pyrotechnic products, as amended by Act No.
227/2003 Coll. and Act No. 148/2010 Coll. (hereinafter the "Act"), for the implementation of
section 6 (1). 1, sections 7 and 8, section 10, paragraph 1. 1 (a). (c)), section 15, paragraph. 2, § 16. 1
(a). (c)), section 16. 2 (a). and, § 18 paragraph). 2, § 18 paragraph. 3 (b). a), §
19 paragraph. 1 and section 20 (2). 1:
§ 1
The subject of the edit
This Decree regulates the
details on the procedure) of the Czech Office for the testing of weapons and ammunition
(hereinafter referred to as "the authority") laid down in the validation of firearms,
fixed ammunition and pyrotechnic products (hereinafter referred to as "controlled

The marking of weapons and ammunition

§ 2
The procedure for approving the set of firearms
(1) when approving the set of firearms (hereinafter referred to as "homologation")

"controlled person") together with the application (section 18 of the Act) to the Office
technical and accompanying documentation and the two set out firearms
bearing its name, under which it is registered in the commercial
Register, or name, in the case of a legal person, or the name and
last name, if a natural person, or of the trade mark, and the type
marking and marking the caliber of ammunition used. The designation caliber is further

§ 3
The procedure for the items provided for verification of firearms

§ 4
How to reuse items provided for verification of firearms

§ 5
The procedure for the type-checking provided for ammunition
(1) For authentication, provided ammunition for the smallest production series

the Protocol referred to in paragraph 4 of the certificate of type-checking of ammunition,

(b)) the subject of the type checking,
(c)) date and place of issue of the certificate of type-checking,
(d)) for the implementation of production checks credentials and specify the body that will be

§ 6
The procedure for the verification of pyrotechnic articles
(1) when a type-test of pyrotechnic articles pursuant to section 13 of the Act (hereinafter referred to
just a "type test") the authority to determine whether the pyrotechnic article meets
the technical requirements laid down in annex 2.
(2) the authority shall include in the file set of the technical requirements and such
property or parameter of the pyrotechnic article presenting an increased
the risk for the user or the necessary condition for their safe
use, storage and disposal, which is not included in the annex I.

(3) for the purposes of the verification provided for the technical requirements (§ 4

(c) the determination of the test according to the marks) of annex 3, part 2, and the identification of the body,

fixed ammunition, thereto, to the parts of the product as laid down

§ 8
The marking of the test marks
Controlled products which meet established technical requirements and
were verified, indicate the test marks according to annex No 3 as follows:

Transitional provisions

specify the marking provided for ammunition instead of the specified way
marking a test mark provided for in annex 3 section 1.2.1 of the Decree No.
335/2004 Coll., as amended by this Ordinance.
