implementing Act No. 168/1999 Coll., on liability insurance
damage caused by operation of the vehicle and on the amendment of certain related
laws (the law on the liability insurance of the vehicle)

The Ministry of Finance shall determine in accordance with § 3 (1). 1, § 6 (1). 3, section 13 (3).
1 and § 14 paragraph. 3 of the Act No. 168/1999 Coll., on liability insurance
damage caused by operation of the vehicle and on the amendment of certain related
laws (the law on the liability insurance of the vehicle):
§ 1
The range of data on the liability insurance of the insurer in the Czech

Requirements receipt for the duration of the liability insurance and claims
during the insurance period
(1) confirmation of the duration of the liability insurance and claims over the
insurance issued at the time of duration of the insurance liability contains
and, where applicable, names) the name, last name, social security number or date of birth, and
place of residence of a natural person, or the business name or the name and address of the legal
persons as the policyholder; If the owner or operator of the vehicle
the person with the same person, the policyholder, provides confirmation of the details of
of these persons, and according to the technical certificate of the vehicle,
(b) the business name and registered office) of the insurer,
(c)) the State registration plate or a military license plate of the vehicle,
the vehicle identification number, or, if allocated, the chassis number
or the body of the vehicle specified in the insurance contract of insurance
liability,
(d) the number of the insurance policy), the duration of the liability insurance, a valid
on the date of receipt of the request under section 13 (3). 1 (a). (b)) of the law on insurance
liability from the operation of the vehicle, and the total duration of the insurance

§ 4
List of foreign States
Outside the territory of the Czech Republic, the other Member States of the European Union and
other States that make up the European economic area, the insurance
of liability applies to any damage caused by the operation of the domestic vehicles

Republic of Macedonia, Croatia, Monaco, San Marino, Serbia, Montenegro

§ 5
Cancellation provisions
On 1 January 2005. January 1, 2000 are hereby repealed:
1. Decree No. 492/1991 Coll., laying down the scope and the conditions of
legal liability insurance for damage caused by operation
of the motor vehicle.
2. Decree No. 582/1992 Coll., amending Decree No.
492/1991 Coll., laying down the scope and the conditions for legal insurance
liability for damage caused by operation of a motor vehicle.
3. Decree No 327/1993 Coll., amending Decree No.
492/1991 Coll., laying down the scope and the conditions for legal insurance
liability for damage caused by operation of a motor vehicle, in the text of the
Decree No. 582/1992 Sb.
4. Decree No. 246/1994 Coll., amending Decree No.
492/1991 Coll., laying down the scope and the conditions for legal insurance
liability for damage caused by operation of a motor vehicle, in the text of the
