CONGRESS OF THE REPUBLIC

By which the authorizations conferred on the National Government are extended to celebrate external and internal public credit operations and operations assimilated to the previous ones and other provisions are dictated.

COLOMBIA CONGRESS

DECRETA:

Indebtedness entitlements

ARTICLE 1o. Amplify in four thousand five hundred million dollars of the United States of America (US$4,500,000,000) or its equivalent in other currencies, the authorizations conferred on the National Government by the Article 1or Law 781 of 2002 and previous laws, other than those expressly granted by other rules, to conduct external public credit operations, domestic public credit operations, as well as operations assimilated to the previous ones, intended for the financing of appropriations budget and programmes and projects for economic and social development.

The authorizations granted by this article are different from those granted by Article 2or Law 533 of 1999. As a result, the exercise of that exercise shall not in any way affect the exercise of that provision.

ARTICLE 2o. This provision governs from the date of its enactment.
