THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA DECREES:
ARTICLE 1o. Sessions of the Assemblies. The assemblies in session for six (6) months in ordinary form, thus:
The first period shall in the first year of meetings, from 2 January following their election to the last of February of the respective year.
The second and third year session will first period as the period between the 1st. March and 30 April.
The second period will be the first of June to 30 July, and the third period is from 1st. October to 30 November.
They may also hold sessions for one month per year of extraordinary form, which is remunerated in proportion to the fixed salary.
PARAGRAFO 1o. The remuneration of the members is incompatible with any allocation from the public treasury, except for those originating in pensions or pension substitutions and exceptions established in the Law on the 4th.
PARAGRAFO 1992. 2o. Deputies shall be covered by the social security scheme provided for in Law 100 of 1993 and its supplementary provisions. In any case they are guaranteed for health insurance and pensions. The National Government will regulate the matter. Effective Notes

ARTICLE 3. TRANSIENT. Deputies of the new departments will have the same functions and compensation regime that the other members of the country.
