To be published in the "Official Gazette" Law amending the Law on Territorial Administration of the Republic of Bulgaria adopted by HLI National Assembly on November 17, 2011 .

Law amending the Law on Territorial Administration of the Republic of Bulgaria (prom. SG. 63 of 1995 .; Decision № 8 1996 Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria - SG. 51 of 1996 .; amend., SG. 27, 33 and 154 of 1998, pcs. 10 and 69 in 1999, pcs. 57 of 2000, pcs. 67 80 of 2003, SG. 46 of 2005, No. 63 of 2007, No. 36 of 2008, pcs. 9 of 2011)
§ 1. In art. 30 words "district and town hall" is replaced by "development".
§ 2. Article 31 is amended as follows:
"Art. 31. (1) Change related to the closing of the mayoralty, and change of borders or the administrative center of the town hall, shall be by decision of the municipal council in the terms and conditions for its creation.
(2) The decision of the municipal council under par. 1 is sent for publication in the "Official Gazette" by the governor, who shall rule on its legality within 7 days from the date of receipt.
(3) The decision under par. 1 shall enter into force on the day of its promulgation in the "Official Gazette". Final provisions

§ 3. Besides the cases under Art. 46a para. 1, first sentence of the Local Government and Local Administration, by decision of the municipal council in municipalities where on October 23, 2011 no elections were held for mayors, may be appointed as deputy mayors in compliance with the other requirements of the same law.
§ 4. The law shall enter into force on the day of its promulgation in the "Official Gazette".
The law was adopted by the 41 th National Assembly on November 17, 2011 and was affixed with the official seal of the National Assembly.
