DECREE OF December 10, 2001

Homologa the administrative demarcation of the Indigenous Land Barata / Livramento, located in the Municipality of Alto Alegre, State of Roraima.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers him the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and with a view to art. 19, § 1º, of Law No. 6,001, of December 19, 1973, and the art. 5º of Decree No. 1,775, of January 8, 1996,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º It is homologated to administrative demarcation, promoted by the National Indigenous Foundation-FUNAI, of Indigenous land intended for possession permanent of the indigenous Macuxi and Uapixana (Makuxi and Wapixana) groups, described below: the Indigenous Land named Barata / Livramento, with surface of twelve thousand, eight hundred and eighty three hectares, twenty-seven airs and a centiare and perimeter of sixty thousand, four hundred and eighty and three metres, situated in the Municipality of Alto Alegre, State of Roraima, circumscribes to the following limits: NORTH: departing from the P-01 scanned point of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 20 '02.0148 "S and 61 ° 07' 12, 4403" WGr., located at the confluence of the Igarapé Water Fresh with the Igarapé of the Tabaio, follows by a dry line up to the landmark SAT M-15 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 19 '56, 4409 " S and 61 ° 07' 01, 8774" WGr.; hence, it follows by a dry line up to the milestone M-16 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 19 '48, 4148 "S and 61 ° 06' 30, 6341" WGr.; hence, it follows by a dry line up to the milestone M-16A of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 19 '37, 8361" S and 61 ° 05' 49, 4549" WGr.; EAST: from the point before described, it follows by the Igarapé Arumim, upstream, up to the setting digitized P-03 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 14 ' 35, 7253 " S and 61 ° 01'29,0760" WGr., located at the confluence of the Igarapé Tauari; SUL: from the point before described, it follows by the Igarapé Tauari, upstream, up to the landmark SAT M-02 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 14 4131 " S and 61 ° 02 10,0746" WGr., located at its bedside; hence, it follows by a dry line up to the milestone M-03 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 14 '09, 3393 "S and 61 ° 02' 49, 1164" WGr., situated close to the highway connecting the municipalities of Boa Vista and Amajari; hence, it follows by a dry line up to the milestone M-04 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 14 '15, 2961" S and 61 ° 03' 22, 7217" WGr.; hence, it follows by a line dry up to the milestone M-05 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 14 '21, 2751 "S and 61 ° 03' 58, 8877" WGr.; hence, it follows by the cited igarapé, upstream, up to the milestone SAT M-07 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 15 '29.5374 "S and 61 ° 06' 04,0847" WGr., located at your bedside; WEST: from the milestone before described, follows by a dry line up to the milestone M-08 of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 16 '08.5284" S and 61 ° 05' 46.0038 " WGr.; Art. 2o The indigenous land of which it treats this Decree, situated on the border strip, submit to the provisions of the art. 20, § 2o, of the Constitution.

Art. 3º This Decree comes into force on the date of its publication.
