DECREE OF January 30, 2001.

Declares of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate that mentions, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attributions that confers on him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 2º of the Supplemental Act No. 76, of July 6, 1993, 18 and 20 of Law No. 4,504 of November 30, 1964, and 2º of Law No. 8,629 of February 25, 1993,

D E C R E T A:

Art. 1º Ficam declared of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, in the terms of the arts. 18, letters "a", "b", "c" and "d", and 20, inciso VI, of Law No. 4,504, of November 30, 1964, and 2º of Law No. 8,629 of February 25, 1993, the following rural real estate:

XII-known for "Farm Paradise"-part, with area of three thousand, ninety hectares, seventy-four airs and forty-seven centiars, situated in the Municipalities of Araguaine and Pau D' Arco, object of the Matriculation No. 27,678, fls. 01/02, Book 02, of the Estate Registration Office of the Comarch of Araguaine, State of the Tocantins (Process INCRA/SR-26/nº 54400.000161 /98-14).

Art. 2º Excludes from the effects of this Decree the semovents, the machines and the agricultural implements, as well as the existing benfeons in the real estate referred to in the previous article and belonging to those who will be benefited from their targeting.

Art. 3º The National Institute of Colonization and Reformation Agrarian-INCRA becomes authorized to promote the rural real estate dispropriations of which it treats this Decree, in the manner provided for in the Supplementary Act No. 76 of July 6, 1993, and to keep the areas of Legal Reserve and permanent preservation provided for in the Act paragraph 4,771 of September 15, 1965 preferentially in single gleba, in such a way as to reconcile the settlement with the preservation of the environment.

Art. 4º This Decree takes effect on the date of its publication.
