DECREE NO. 8,454, OF May 20, 2015

Disposes on the execution of the Septuageth Seventh Protocol Additional to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 18 (77PAACE18), firmed between the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, on November 11, 2011.

THE CHAIRWOMAN OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers it on art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and Whereas the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, which created the Latin American Association of Integration-Aladi, firmed by the Federative Republic of Brazil on August 12, 1980 and promulgated by the Decree No 87,054, of March 23, 1982, provides for the modality of Economic Supplementation Agreement;

Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Republic Eastern Uruguay, based on the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, struck on November 29, 1991, in Montevideo, the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 18, promulgated by Decree No. 550, of May 27, 1992; and

Considering whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, on the basis of the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, struck on November 11, 2011 in Montevideo, the Ata of Rectification of the Septuageth Seventh Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 18;

DECRETA:

Art. 1º The Septuagumeth Seventh Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 18, as rectified by the depositary, between the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, of November 11, 2011, attachment to this Decree, will be executed and fully complied with in its terms.

Art. 2º This Decree takes effect on the date of its publication.
