DECREE NO. 7,916, OF February 7, 2013

Promulgates the Agreement on Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Government of the Republic of Malawi, firmed in Brasília, on September 16, 2009.

THE CHAIRWOMAN OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers it on art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and

Whereas the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Malawi firmed, in Brasilia, on September 16, 2009, Technical Cooperation Agreement;

Whereas the National Congress approved the Agreement, by means of Legislative Decree No. 289, of September 15, 2011; and

Whereas the Agreement entered into force for the Federative Republic of Brazil in 9 of December 2011, pursuant to paragraph 1º of its Article IX,

D E C R E T A:

Art. 1º It is promulgated the Technical Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Government of the Republic of Malawi, firming in Brasilia, on September 16, 2009, annexed to this Decree.

Art. 2º Are subject to the approval of the National Congress acts that may result in revision of the Agreement and supplementary adjustments that entail gravy charges or commitments to the national heritage, pursuant to the inciso I of the caput of the art. 49 of the Constitution.

Art. 3º This Decree takes effect on the date of its publication.
