DECREE OF April 5, 2004

Gives new essay to art. 1º of the Decree of August 26, 1999, which declares of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate named "Pool Santa Cruz / São José", situated in the Municipality of Santa Luzia, State of Bahia, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 18 and 20 of Law No. 4,504 of November 30, 1964, 2º of Law No. 8,629 of February 25, 1993, and 2º of the Supplementary Act No. 76, of July 6, 1993,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º The art. 1º of the Decree of August 26, 1999, published in the Official Journal of the Union of the following day, Section 1, which declares of social interest, for the purposes of land reform, the rural real estate named "Pool Santa Cruz / São José", situated in the Municipality of Santa Luzia, State of Bahia, goes on to invigorate with the following essay:

" Art. 1º It is declared of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, in the terms of the arts. 18, letters "a", "b", "c" and "d", and 20, inciso VI, of Law No. 4,504, of November 30, 1964, and 2º of Law No. 8,629 of February 25, 1993, rural real estate named "Pool Santa Cruz / São José", with registered area of three hundred and twenty nine hectares, and measured area of three hundred and eighty and two hectares, sixty-eight ares and seventeen centiars, situated in the Municipality of Santa Luzia, object of Matriculation No. 839, Ficha 1, Book 2, of the Estate Registration Office and Mortgages, Titles and Documents of the Comarch of Canavieiras, State of Bahia (Processo/INCRA/SR-05 / No 54160.000476 /99-22). Art. 2º This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.
