DECREE OF April 19, 2002

Declared of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, rural real estate that mentions, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 2^o of the Supplemental Act n^o 76, of July 6, 1993, 18 and 20 of the Law n^o 4,504, of November 30, 1964, and 2^o of the Act n^o 8,629, of February 25, 1993,

DECRETA:

Art. 1^o Ficam declared of social interest, for purposes of agrarian reform, in the terms of the arts. 18, letters "a", "b", "c" and "d", and 20, inciso VI, Law No. 4,504, of November 30, 1964 and 2º of Law No. 8,629, of February 25, 1993, the following rural real estate:

I-"Farm Good Success and others", with registered area of a thousand, one hundred and two hectares, eighty ares and ninety two centiars, and measured area of a thousand, five hundred and nineteen hectares, sixty-four airs and forty-one centiars, situated in the Municipality of São Félix do Coribe, object of the Records n^os R-4-4.687, fls. 153, Book 2-AS; R-8-5.511, fls. 108, Book 2-AR; R-2-5.512, fls. 107, Book 2-AR and R-6-5.946, fls. 68, Book 2-AS, of the Estate Registration Office of the Comarch of Santa Maria da Vitoria, State of Bahia (Case INCRA/SR-05/n^o 54160.001657 /00-18);

II-"Fazenda Dadau", with registered area of thousand, three hundred and six hectares, and eight centiars, and measured area of a thousand, two hundred and nineteen hectares, sixty and one airs and thirty-three centiars, situated in the Municipalities of Iramaia and Itaetê, object of the Registry n^o R-1-720, 139, Book 2-C, of the Carthorium of Real estate record of the Estiva Bar Comarch, State of Bahia (Process INCRA/SR-05/n^o 54160.000468 /2001-80); and

III-"Farm Novo Horizon", with registered area of thousand, eight hundred and one hectares and seventy and seven ares, and measured area of seven hundred and forty-five hectares, forty-eight ares and fifties and four centiars, situated in the Municipality of Lençóis, object of the Registration n^o R-1-975, Book 2-M, of the Estate Registration Office of the Comarch of Lençóis, State of Bahia (Process INCRA/SR-05/n^o 54160.001203 /2001-07).

Art. 2^o Excludes from the effects of this Decree the semovents, the machines and the agricultural implements, as well as the benfeits existing in the real estate referred to in art. 1^o and belonging to those who will be benefited from their targeting.

Art. 3^o The National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform-INCRA gets authorized to promote the dispropriations of real estate Rural that it treats this Decree, in the form provided for in the Supplementary Act n^o 76, of July 6, 1993, and to keep the areas of Legal Reserve and permanent preservation provided for in the Lei n^o 4,771, of September 15, 1965, preferentially in single gleba, so as to reconcile the settlement with the preservation of the environment.

Art. 4^o This Decree comes into force on the date of its publication.
