DECREE N ° 8,300, OF August 29, 2014

Promulgate the Agreement between the Federative Republic of Brazil and the French Republic in Social Security Matter, firmed in Brasilia, on December 15, 2011.

THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers it on art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and Whereas the Agreement between the Federative Republic of Brazil and the French Republic in Social Security Matter was firmed in Brasilia, on December 15, 2011;

Whereas the National Congress has approved the Agreement through Legislative Decree No. 2 of January 16, 2014; e

Considering that the Agreement will enter into force for the Federative Republic of Brazil, in the external legal plan, on 1º September 2014, pursuant to its Article 40;

DECRETA:

Art. 1º It is promulgated the Agreement between the Federative Republic of Brazil and the French Republic in Welfare Matters firming in Brasilia, on December 15, 2011, annex to this Decree.

Art. 2º Are subject to the approval of the National Congress acts that may result in revision of the Agreement and supplementary adjustments that entail gravy charges or commitments to the national heritage, pursuant to the inciso I of the caput of the art. 49 of the Constitution.

Art. 3º This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.
