DECREE NO. 6,410, OF March 24, 2008.

Disposes on the execution of the Rectification Act, of November 30, 2006, of the Economic Supplementation Agreement no 58, Between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States Parties to MERCOSUR, and the Government of the Republic of Peru.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignment that confers it on art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and

Whereas the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, which created the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), firmed by Brazil on August 12, 1980 and approved by the National Congress, through the Legislative Decree no 66 of November 16, 1981, provides for the modality of Complementation Agreement Economic;

Considering that the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil, of the Republic Argentina, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States Parties to MERCOSUR, and the Government of the Republic of Peru, based on the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, signed, on November 30, 2005, the Economic Supplementation Agreement in the 58, incorporated into the Brazilian domestic law by the Decree no 5,651, of December 29, 2005;

Whereas the General Secretariat of the ALADI, in the use of the colleges that gives it Resolution 30, of August 17, 1983, of the Committee of Representatives of the Association, washed away, in November 30, 2006, Rectification Act of the Economic Supplementation Agreement no 58;

DECRETA:

Art. 1st A Rectification Act, of November 30, 2006, of the Economic Supplementation Agreement in the 58, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States Parties to MERCOSUR, and the Government of the Republic of Peru, Apensa by copy to the present Decree, shall performed and fulfilled as entirely as it contains.

Art. 2nd This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.

ATA DE REDEATION

ECONOMIC COMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT No 58

In the city of Montevideo, at the thirty days of the month of November of the year two thousand and six, the General Secretariat of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), in use of the colleges that outwit Resolution 30 of the Committee of Representatives as a depositary of the Agreements and Protocols signed by the Governments of the ALADI member states, and of compliance with the established in its Article Third, makes the record:

First. That the Permanent Delegation of Brazil to the ALADI and MERCOSUR, by Note n^o 10, of January 9, 2006, requested the revision of the text in Portuguese of the Economic Supplementation Agreement n^o 58, in order to detect errors in the even.

Second. That by Note n^o 80, of March 23, 2006, the Permanent Delegation of Brazil to the ALADI and to MERCOSUR communicated additional corrections to that text.

Third. That the errors found by the General Secretariat in the text in Portuguese of the Economic Supplementation Agreement n^o 58, are as follows:

Room. That the existence of these errors was verified by the General Secretariat, leading to the knowledge of the Argentine Representation to the MERCOSUR and the ALADI, of the Permanent Delegation of Brazil to the ALADI and to MERCOSUR, of the Permanent Representation of Paraguay together with the ALADI and MERCOSUR, from the Permanent Representation of Peru to the ALADI and MERCOSUR and the Permanent Representation of Uruguay to the ALADI and to MERCOSUR, by way of the ALADI/SUB-JRB-148/06 Note of March 14, 2006, setting a deadline of five days to present observations.

Quinto. That transcurring that deadline without having received submissions from the signatory countries, this General Secretariat carried out the corresponding modifications, in the Portuguese version of the Economic Supplementation Agreement n^o 58, signed on November 30 of 2005, between the Governments of the Argentine Republic, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States-Part of MERCOSUR, and the Government of the Republic of Peru.

And, for the record, this General Secretariat lavages the present Rectification Act at the place and date indicated, in a original in the Portuguese and Spanish languages, being both texts being equally valid.
