DECREE OF February 17, 2000.

Declared of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate named?Farm Santa Rita?, situated in the Municipality of São José dos Campos, State of São Paulo, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 18 and 20 of Law No. 4,504 of November 30, 1964, 2º of Law No. 8,629 of February 25, 1993, and 2º of the Supplementary Act No. 76, of July 6, 1993,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º It is stated to be of interest social, for the purposes of agrarian reform, the terms of the arts. 18, letters ? a?,? b?,? c? and ? d?, and 20, inciso VI, of Law No. 4,504, of November 30, 1964, and 2º of Law No. 8,629, of February 25, 1993, the rural real estate named?Farm Santa Rita?, with area of four hundred and forty seven hectares and seventy ares, situated in the Municipality of São José do Campos, object of the Registration # R-1-108.172, Ficha 02, Books 02, of the Estate Registration of Real estate of the Comarch of St. Joseph of the Campos, State of São Paulo.

Art. 2º Excludes from the effects of this Decree the soothing, the machines and agricultural implements, as well as the existing benfeons in the immovable referred to in the previous article and belonging to the who will be benefited from their targeting.

Art. 3º The National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform-INCRA is allowed to promote the disappropriation of the rural real estate of which it treats this Decree, in the form envisaged in the Supplementary law No. 4,771, of September 15, 1965, preferentially in single gleba, in such a way as to reconcile the settlement with the preservation of the environment.

Art. 4º This Decree takes effect on the date of its publication.
