LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO 921, DE 2005 (*)

Approves the texts of the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation and the Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Fixed Platforms Located on the Continental Platform, concluded in Rome, on March 10, 1988.

The National Congress decrees:

Art. 1º Stay approved of the texts of the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation and the Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Fixed Platforms Located on the Continental Platform, completed in Rome on March 10, 1988, ressaved item 1 of Article 6º, Article 8º and item 1 of Article 16 of the Convention and item 2 of Article 3º of the Protocol.

Single Paragraph. They shall be subject to the approval of the National Congress any acts that may result in revision of the Convention and the Protocol referred to, as well as any further adjustments which, pursuant to the inciso I of the art. 49 of the Federal Constitution, carries charges or written commitments to national heritage.

Art. 2º This Legislative Decree shall come into force on the date of its publication.
